Stay by a lovely pond on 33 acre fruit and ornamental tree nursery property with great vibes. Located near I-75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando. This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property. We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!

Privacy and country comforts, yet 3 miles from the I-75 exit. Grocery and restaurants nearby as well. There is a stable and 2 cross-fenced paddocks for grazing. An RV site with 30A power and water hookup, but no restroom available fo the RV site. A one room cabin with a queen bed is available with a separate full bathroom. Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away. If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

This piece of land is well loved and cared for by pure hearted stewards. Do yourself a favor and stay here! There is nothing like a piece of nature that is being well loved and just wants to love you back. The camper was a perfect nights sleep! I usually sleep restlessly in a new place. But here is slept soundly with only one small waking event. Between the bathroom, shower and kitchen setup they have everything I need to take of myself. I looming forward to returning!

We had such an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so warm and welcoming. The host went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, including treats for both us and our pup—which was such a sweet surprise. The property is incredibly peaceful and quiet, the perfect escape from the busy Orlando area. One of our favorite parts was enjoying morning tea while watching (and even “meeting”) the neighbor’s cows—such a unique and relaxing experience! The yard is huge and fully fenced, which was perfect for our fur baby to run, sniff, and explore freely. It really made the stay even more special for us. Check-in and check-out were both seamless. Our flight came in later than expected, and the host was extremely accommodating, making sure we could settle in easily without any stress. The camper itself was cozy, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Even though the drive was a bit farther out, it was absolutely worth it for the peace, fresh air, and break from the usual chaos. We would definitely stay here again! Overall my experience was good! Deirdre is very welcoming and helpful. When I arrived the air conditioner was broke and she immediately had it replaced with a brand new one. The cabins and bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and well stocked with essentials. There is a small fridge though the freezer portion doesn’t keep stuff frozen. It’s only a few minutes from town which is continent though because it’s near the highway there is some traffic noise. Also be prepared for a morning wake up call from the New Guinea hens. There’s someone living in a camper right next to the cabins and bathroom/kitchen area, they were very quiet. The property is beautiful. The other cabin was not occupied while I was there, so it was extremely quiet and peaceful - perfect for a relaxing getaway to unwind. The hospitality was great and Dennis was able to help me with anything I needed. I will definitely be returning.

This property is absolutely amazing. Great trip to kid the kids off of their electronics and outside to play and spend quality time. My kids do not like to tent for their camping experience but this is a great way to give them a camp experience with lodging. The host is very kind and very quick to respond. Peaceful Gem and we can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

We loved the cabin and our second stay here. Out of both cabins I really enjoyed the smaller one. It felt very comfortable and we had an all night rain storm. It felt very secure and dry. I can't remember hearing the rain all night long. It was a great start to our spring break. Our neighbors kept the campfire going all weekend. It was a fun trip.

i have camp at medard many times, had a motor home then, and i loved it, all the people that worked there are as nice as they can be, i sold the motor home as we are done with seeing the states, i am now going to try a tent, and medard will be where i try it out, so nice and peaceful, good fishing, good place to take your bike, or just good for a nice walk.
