We spent 5 incredible days at Le Petite Cabine. This cabin aesthetic is like something out of a home & living magazine. Original 1950s appliances including a Chambers gas stove and Frigidaire refrigerator, with charming antique decor adorning every wall (many items are for sale too.) Aside from being cozy, our host Anie has truly thought of every accoutrements you could possibly need to have a great stay: amply stocked wood piles, cast iron pans for firetop cooking, picnic table right outside the house, two outdoor firepits (one riverside), blankets for cozying up by the fire. And how about the record collection! Wow! Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Jazz & Big Band, to name just a few. A vintage soundtrack for a vintage stay. Anie, our host, was friendly and thoughtful, showing us how to use the appliances and woodstove during check-in, and responded promptly whenever we had any questions via phone/HC message. Her cat Cloak checked in on us every day too. We look forward to our next visit to Le Petite Cabine. If you're looking for a relaxing, charming, and comfortable escape--this is the place.
