Bonflower is open for Fall camping! Check out our extras as right now we have lots of farm-fresh foods for you to enjoy.

Please read info about our sites carefully before booking, and feel free to ask any questions.  We've been having people camp on the land for about a year now and want to make sure everyone who comes knows what to expect and has a great time!

The campsites are spread around the farm to give everyone privacy. Each site has a picnic table and firepit, but they each offer something a little different. Make sure to book the one that is right for you & your people:

Site 1:  Great for people who want to be a little closer to the action. It's near the compost toilet and large communal bonfire pit. And it's the closest site to parking — you can even drive up and park next to the site if you're wanting max convenience. Fits up to 2 tents.

Site 2: If you're coming with a crew, this is maybe the best site. Can fit up to 3 tents, and isn't too far from parking. On your short walk you'll travel through a little meadow of Goldenrods to a campsite that's private but not too far away.

Site 3: A quiet and woodsy experience that's very lovely. On the smaller side, so best for 1 or 2 people with a single tent.  Hide away in this site, it's a little mystical. It's a hike-in site on flat terrain, about a 5-minute easy walk.

Site 4: You'll forget all your worries out here, in the middle of the woods. It's quiet, typically visited by deer and wild turkeys, and campers of the more rustic variety. It's about a 10min trek in from the parking on an easy, flat path. If you have loads of gear, you can borrow our wagon to help out. Fits 2-3 tents max.

We're a small farm in the Hudson Valley with quiet, peaceful camping on primitive land.  Just the right amount of familiar amenities and a beautiful landscape make a nice backdrop for your next camping trip.

We love to meet new campers and have friends come back time and again.  Join us and other campers in the communal kitchen, or hang out by the campfire in your campsite with your group.

You'll find beautiful hiking trails, mountains, lakes, rock climbing, biking and many more outdoor activities right nearby in the Shawangunk mountains.  When there's snow on the ground we have snowshoe and x-country ski trails around our farm and through the woods.  You might even get lucky and come when we've groomed them!

We're a mile down the road from Angry Orchard cider house, and close to Magnanini Winery and Robibero Winery.  New Paltz is close by and has some great food to offer if you want to ride into a bigger town.

Order any extras with us (camp breakfast or dinner) ahead of time so we can make sure you have everything when you arrive.

Looking forward to having you visit :)

Ellie and Joey were very welcoming hosts. We had stayed at site 4, and it felt like we were walking to a secluded secret camping spot. The communal bonfire pit at night has the best front row seat to view the stars. It was breathtaking! What was even more amazing was the food that Ellie and Joey made for us at dinner and breakfast. All farm-to-table with their own grown ingredients. I would highly recommend adding a meal to your stay.

Joey and Ellie have built a little slice of paradise at Bonflower Farm! Not to mention they were the most warm and accessible hosts. Highlights: Clear skies made for incredible star gazing, Built a big bonfire with another group of campers, easy access to stellar hiking and views near Mohonk Mountain House (~20min), amazing shakshuka breakfast cooked up by Joey before our departure! Site 3 was nice and private and perfect for 2 people

Ellie & Joey provided us with a great experience on their beautiful property. Each campsite is very private and in the middle of the forest with a public kitchen and fireplace allowing guests to make their stay a very personalized experience. After a very warm welcome, we were led to our campsite and provided with water and a bbq grill for the fire pit which was perfect. Thank you for having us and we’ll definitely come back!

Friendly, beautiful site! Fields of goldenrod, a communal kitchen, a composting toilet, and privacy, all while being a short walk to the car! I can't wait to go back :)

My partner and I took our one-year-old to Bonflower Farm Campsite, along with my sister and her dog, and we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in at site 4, which was perfect if you want to feel away from it all while also having amenities close by: the site is just a 10 minute walk from the kitchen area and toilet, but nestled a bit into the woods, surrounded by lush woodland and some wildflowers. The site was basic and comfortable, a clean picnic table and a fire pit. Ellie and Joey were warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the dinner and breakfast they cook were fantastic. We also enjoyed getting to know the other campers over dinner. Can't recommend their place enough.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend at Bonflower Farm. The farm is beautiful and well maintained, with private campsites and helpful lighting. Be sure to get a nap in the hammock grove and be sure to sign up for meals, which are made from ingredients grown and raised right there at the farm. Big thank you to Joey and Ellie for their hospitality!

If you’re looking for a campsite two hours from the city this is a great option. Located right near some great wineries and hiking options. The campsite itself was lush with wild grapes growing. The host was very accommodating. Be prepared if you are in lot for that there’s a bit of walking before you get to your campsite. The only downside was that on Saturday night the neighbors were quite loud playing music.

Had a great time at Bonflower Farm. Ellie & Joey were so kind, attentive, and responded to all my questions. I lowkey picked this spot because of the communal outdoor kitchen and firepit hoping to meet fellow campers alike and we did! we ended the last night of our 3-night stay sipping wine and playing guitar around the fire.

Highly recommend checking out New Paltz, the Angry Orchard tour, and doing a tasting at the Robibero's winery. If you're undecided between the few sites that are offered in the area- pick Bonflower. You won't regret it.
