Four Mile Creek State Park

15 minutes from Niagara Falls, Four Mile Creek State Park is the ideal base camp for hikers and waterfall enthusiasts alike. The park sits along the shores of Lake Ontario and offers trails through wooded bluffs for those that like to get their hike on. If you go gaga for furry creatures, visit the marsh at the mouth of the park's namesake creek. You may come across white-tail deer or blue heron. The campground is scattered throughout a grassy field so don’t count on privacy here, but look on the bright side! More visibility equals less worries as your youngsters run wild.
