Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
A lovely meadow to pitch a tent in privacy and safety, surrounded by woods. Admire the moon and stars at night as the owls hoot, watch the birds and butterflies during the day. Firepit, seating area provided. The land has been chemical-free for over a decade and is owned by an herbalist and Reiki healer. Just 5 minutes from the shore of Lake Ontario, 15 minutes from the fishing village of Olcott. Surrounded by wineries and farms. Reiki treatments and sound baths available. Herbal remedy shop on premises. A women only campsite.Set up your tent in privacy on my land between the remains of the Big Red Barn and the forest. During the day, it's only a few minutes to the shores of Lake Ontario and the Niagara Wine Trail. 15 minutes to the fishing town of Olcott, 20 to the Wilson Boat House for live music or to Medina with its many attractions and eateries. The village of Barker does have a good taco place and Donovan Orchards' tap room (formerly Blackbird Cider). At night, get out that camping recliner or hammock to lie under the stars. Telescopes encouraged! This is a safe space for women and LGBTQ+.
