It is a beautiful place, but it’s an absolute Mecca for ticks, I’ve been camping all my life and I’ve never seen it this bad. My brother got over a dozen, his girlfriend got 10 his son got 6 and there were many other people who also got at least one out two including myself but they got it the worst. We ended up leaving early just because it was so out of control. Normally don’t like leaving bad reviews but if you have small children especially as I do, might want to tread lightly

This place was amazing in every way except 1. The grounds themselves were perfect. They’re even more beautiful than in the photos. There’s plenty of space between the three sites. We were unable to hear anything from the other sites even with the music turned all the way up. The porta potty was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. All of the picnic tables, grill tops, the canoe, swing- were in great condition.
THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE TICKS. We arrived the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. And had rented the place through Monday. But all of us left Sunday morning. I personally found 23 ticks on myself. All but two were deer ticks. I found 17 on my son. I am currently writing this on Monday evening. A couple of the bites have shown the large circular swelling marks associated with Lymes disease. I saw a doctor today and was prescribed Doxycycline

BEST Hipcamp in NJ! Honestly one of the best camping sites I’ve ever stayed at, private or public. This land is beautifully kept. The pond is huge and the creek behind site two is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. The property & site are easy to find. The area is very private & the hosts respect your privacy but respond fast. There is cell service which was a bonus for me while camping alone. There was a picnic table, fire ring with cooking griddle, porta potty, tree swing, pond dock & huge canoe provided. Felt remote once on site but there is a wawa fifteen minutes away need be :) 10/10 a perfect time!

Site was private and porta potty was well maintained, but our site was covered in broken glass beer bottles. Host did not supply a full address, directions on how to access the site, or an update about the lack of firewood (which the listing says is available for purchase) until after we arrived and requested said information. Overall we had a nice time, but I probably will not return.

Hands down the best camp site near me. No picture trickery…. We will definitely be back. Timothy was a communicative host answering all our questions. The site was easy to find and the view by the lake is amazing (site 1)

A few concise descriptions: incredibly clean restroom; quiet little piece of land; small lake with good view; beautiful night out; tons of firewood and fire starters just from the trees around; super friendly and approachable land owner.
One thing to note is that there is no water provided for the tents sites even though the description said there is. Bring water filters to use the lake water may be a solution.
Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed camping on Timothy’s land. The site was spacious and there was lots to explore. It felt extremely private. Can’t wait to try it out again in the summer! If you’re going to go in the fall/winter, make sure to bring lots of lights with you as it gets extremely dark. Stargazing was incredible here.. we got to see Orion’s Belt & Jupiter! ⭐️

It was a great location with beautiful fall foliage. However, the pictures were deceiving as there was no creek or lake water. There was no fire wood and no spring water. So we had thank goodness brought our own water.

Great property. Owners are super responsive. Fire wood available upon request. Spacious, secluded, wooded and open sites regardless of which your on. Disappointed to see pond dried out. Owner should update site until water returns, but he did give a heads up about it when I reached out for directions. GPS directions take you to road… then u either gotta hook a hard left (almost u-turn) if your coming from north or drive right in going to the right if coming from south. Just look for make shift sign, “ wild boys road” at the entrance no matter which direction you come from. GPS should take you right to the sign.

Great site! Plenty of space we had 7 tents. Extremely private. Leveled ground, firewood available. Porta potty was about a 2 min walk. Cell service worked great too. Can’t beat this place for being 30-40 min outside of Philly

Our group of 6 had a great night on Timothy's land. We had site 2 which was not right on the water but pretty close. The woods were remote and quiet with night sounds and stars. Picnic table and fire pit provided and wood available for sale. Just one warning, there is sand all around the campsite and with all the fires burning it gets very ashy. You will get dirty, especially kids so you may want the bring along some wet wipes. But hey, that's part of the fun. Great, efficient communication too. Recommended.

We were at site 3 for an overnight camping trip. The site was clean with a picnic table and fire pit available. It was far enough from the other two sites to not be close to the noise from the other campers. A couple things to note is that the port-o-potty is quite a distance from the site so be ready to walk a bit to use it. The lake is pass the potty a bit so that’s also a short walk. The host was extremely responsive and the land is clean and nice. Would definitely go back and rex

We loved tent camping on Timothy’s land , it was a wonderful experience. The view to the lake was amazing. This place is quiet, peaceful. The only thing that this place needs is one dumpster nearby .
Otherwise, this place is amazing if you’re gonna make trip with a big group you can do in this place.

Great campsite for a group of friends! There was like 7 of us . Private and rustic. Short walk to very clean Porta potties and the lake. Nice guy greeted us, gave helpful info and delivered firewood. Things to note that from site 3 we felt like we were on the others peoples site when at the lake docks because site 1 and 2 are right there. Also as other said there was a lot of broken glass on the ground at our site. Not a huge deal for us but I was a little worried about my dog but he was OK.

Was an awesome time as usual. This was our 5th time visiting Tim's site and hasn't disappointed yet. Also loved seeing updates to the site (such as the water wash station) It's great to see Tim taking the time and effort to keep the campers happy.

We were able to stay in site one next to the pond. Wonderful rustic campsite. There are porta potties, that are about a 2 minute walk from site one. The area was beautiful. The hiking trails are clearly marked and you can walk around the entire pond. We camped when it was 100% humidity, so we went floating in the water. Very nice property. Tim is a fantastic host.

Tim thank you for being available when we had questions. My boys and I had a great stay. The sight was a great sight a good amount of shade and clean. While there I did see some wildlife a few dear snake and frogs. The lake was a lot of fun for fishing and swimming. We appreciate you letting us stay.
