Weekend Trip to Fluffy Butt Rescue Animal Sanctuary

We loved glamping at Fluffy Butt Sanctuary!!! The tent is beautiful and the bed is so comfortable! The sound of the stream was so peaceful. Highly recommend bringing coffee grounds and using the percolator. We LOVED getting to see all of the beautiful animals! Rae is so nice and welcoming. Directions are clear and she is very responsive to questions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful trip with amazing rescue animals😍

A sper of the moment decision to go camping for the night and came across this beautiful location which was only 40 minutes from home. I was captivated by the beauty of the waterfall, the hike trails with the secluded overly spacious sites and especially the gorgeous pond to go fishing 🎣 Kathleen is a wonderful host. Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

Loredana’s property is beautiful and she is the most thoughtful host! She welcomed our kids to her farm, took us around for a tour to meet the horses, and even helped to pictures with them! We stayed in campsite three and loved the setup near the water with just a short walk back to the barn. Our kids are already asking when we can go back! If you want a chance to relax, visit with friendly horses, and enjoy time outdoors you definitely need to camp here. We loved our time away!

I loved all the surrounding views,and the nice horses that grazed the patures,I caught a cat fish in the creek, and enjoyed the comfort of the campfire. When I left going down the rode I saw two beautiful peacocks out on one of the back roads, used my Merlin app and found many birds, saw a white and blue heron near the creek,Loredana has a really nice spot with roses in full bloom definitely will return.

Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

Loved camping here with the fam! Loredana’s campsites are spacious, gorgeous, and she was the perfect hostess, very accommodating. By far the best part were the horses, who are so well taken care of, friendly, and sweet. They have a lot of freedom to walk around even near some of the sites, and you could tell they’re really happy. My daughter loved the mini horses best, and there were also lawn games and fun spots to roam and explore on the property. Also great for fishing! We had a great time relaxing for the weekend.

Excellent quiet spot to camp! the field was freshly mowed and scenic with views of the trees on the property. the outhouse was cute on the outside and clean on the inside. There was a fireplace (wood for purchase) and a picnic table that rounded out the site nicely

Kathleen's land was perfect for our quick weekend. First, Kathleen is always super fast to respond any inquiry before the trip. During the trip she came to our camp to check us on the day we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the land. She is engaging, fun and very proud of her land! A short walk there is a waterfall and a stream that kept the kids busy. The site for camping is large and enough to spread out all camping tent and gear. Kathleen's place is 10 minutes from anything you need, and at the same time it felt inside her property it felt like there was only us! Overall a great experience we will come back !

I loved camping at site 1! The view of the water was amazing, and the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular. The 2 free roaming horses were such cuties and they came to join us while camping. I would 100% recommend.

Beautiful plus green grass and tall beautiful trees singing while swaying to the wind. Very convenient, safe. welcoming. We left for the day and came back to a nice table and chairs set beside our tent. ⛺️ As well Ben offered a fire ring if we’d like. Plenty of room for our dogs to run and play freely.

Site 4: My wife and I drove up from Brooklyn NY after reading the great reviews of Kathleen’s property and we were not disappointed! “Kathy” is a tremendous and kind host who is sharing her family’s land for those of us that cherish nature and the opportunity to cross paths with the friendly smiles of fellow campers! The campground is much larger then we imagined-so much so, that we have made plans to revisit in June to experience the sites deeper into the woods where the tranquility of the water falls can be heard. Kathy cares! Her land is beautiful and well taken care of. Kathy came to meet us within moments of our arrival and to share so interesting points and locations of the many features on her property. The weather was rainy then sunny then windy then cloudy then warm then sunny again! Perfect in our world! We can’t wait to return on June!!! Thanks Kathy!!!!

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are Arabs followed by Thoroughbreds and 4 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and Mss. Moo our beautiful cow. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Hope you enjoy visiting our forgotten part of NJ and make great memories! Learn more about this land: Relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Feast your eyes on the luscious green pastures with grazing horses and cow while enjoying the sound of wild life all around you. You might even be lucky and spot a Bald Eagle here on our property. Oak Grove Acres

Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Eacj site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of historic Flemington.

Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.
