The LCR was established January 1st, 2015 as the ambitious result of the owners, James and Debby who dreamt of always having a ranch/recreational destination property. There are no small town main streets or stores, fancy restaurants or coffee stands, not even any museums or other touristy attractions..... what you will find is a remote, peaceful, serene, and private setting with a great history and relatively easy access to any of those things; all less than 30 minutes away. You'll also be in close proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead Lakes (plus countless other lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams), as well as all of the other wonders the Flathead Valley and Northwest Montana offers. Our property offers two Full RV sites and two tiny cabin rentals. The RV's can be reserved here on Hipcamp and the cabins are available on VRBO #2432106 or #2432361 for reservations. The RV sites have water, sewer, and electric hook-up(s) 15ft or less from your unit so please make sure your connections are long enough. There is no cellular service or coverage but we have very good Internet access and WiFi calling is available with most smart phones. Enjoy your time watching deer graze, fish jumping in the pond, or star gazing unlike you’ll ever see...or just relax with a good book. Our property has many options nearby or about an hour away including Flathead and Whitefish Lakes, Glacier National Park, and a myriad of other lakes or hiking trails. You can also find shopping or exploring in any of the downtown areas nearby. Pets allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them. A Quiet and Peaceful Escape

Site 1 - Legacy Creeks Ranch

The RV site at Legacy Creeks Ranch (LCR) sets the bar high for all other RV sites on Hip Camp. From the detailed directions & communication we received as soon as we booked the site to their gracious welcome, the hosts made us feel right at home. They live on the ranch, but were in no way intrusive. The RV site is situated along a wooded side of the property facing a large meadow, pond, and Mountain View. Deer graze in the meadow at dusk and the openness is perfect for night sky views. The site is a level pull through site with great water pressure, electric, sewage, and the best WiFi we’ve ever found while traveling. Because it is set on the edge of the national forest, there is no road noise. LCR is close enough to Whitefish to enjoy the restaurants and shopping, but far enough out to feel away from everything and everyone—a quiet and peaceful escape.

Tranquil Stay with Gracious Hosts

Site 2 - Legacy Creeks Ranch

Our stay at Legacy Creeks Ranch was phenomenally peaceful. We stayed for a month and truly enjoyed the tranquility of this land. Both James and Debbie were so helpful whenever we had questions or needed help. We even had my in-laws stay in one of their cabins when they came to visit and that was such a bonus! Their cabins are so well crafted and really give the farm house feel. My little one year old loved running around the property and playing and our dog was so happy to be off leash the entire time! If you’re thinking about visiting this area, you can’t go wrong! Just be sure to back your coolers before the long drive from town, because it takes about 45-60 minutes to get back to a store…which that kind of remoteness makes for some great stargazing! We even lucked out and caught the Perseid Meteor Shower! It was spectacular! Thanks James and Debbie!

This was a beautiful property. We loved staying here and will definitely be back in the future! Our dogs loved the freedom they had, kids loved the water to swim in and we loved the peacefulness of it all. I worked from this site a few days and the internet worked great for me. Thank y’all so much for the hospitality and great conversation!

This property is absolutely the best! We were here 6 nights and enjoyed everything about it. The rugged, raw Montana beauty, peace and quiet, nearby lakes, visits from deer, and two days spent at Glacier National Park. James and Debra were awesome hosts and took care of every need we had. We will most definitely be back!

The hospitality of the hosts was wonderful. The meadow and pond where our RV parked was beautiful. The last morning we were there a deer was grazing a few yards from our site. 5 out of 5 stars.
