Really great and quiet campsite ( minus my kids, sorry 😂). The campsites were spacious and clean, my kids loved the playground, and it was a pretty spot. My only Gripe was there was no firewood for sale on site.

My father and I had an amazing Labor Day weekend staying here. It was easy to find, the campsite was super clean and peaceful. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and very nice. This site is close to lots of things in the area. We went hiking, biking, and rode electric scooters on a bike path within 20 minutes of our camp. Evenings were peaceful and we both slept great. Will definitely be back when we come back to this area. Can't beat it for the price, cleanliness, and peace.

Rustic Cabin #2- Robin's Nest
Great cabin with everything that we needed. Folks were friendly, the bath house and cabin were both clean and well stocked with necessities. We would recommend this campground to anyone looking for some peace and quite among the trees.

Just what I was looking for. Quiet and serene. Great restrooms. (location and condition) We stayed on a rustic tent site. It was a spacious wooded lot and had a nice fire ring and a picnic table.

Spent 3 days here and would recommend, however the campsites are very close together and we only had privacy because no one else was camping while we were there. Very cute spot off the road with good hiking trails nearby and good views of the stars on a clear night

We recently stayed at this family-owned campsite and had a wonderful experience. The campsite was clean, well-kept, and easy to find. The hosts were fantastic—responsive, accommodating, and even left firewood (we paid), which was a nice touch. The other residents were quiet and friendly, creating a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.
While there were a couple of unexpected noises during our stay, like some nearby dogs barking and music from another neighboring campground, these were minor and likely specific to that weekend.
Overall, we highly recommend this campsite for its cleanliness, excellent hosts, and friendly environment. We look forward to visiting again!

Site 1 - PV's Rustic camping in the woods
My husband loves to camp and wanted to share that with me and the kids. We chose this site because it seemed very kid friendly. It was more than he hoped for. They have an amazing area of games and a play place with swings so our kids never got bored. The owners were incredibly amazing and check on us just enough so we never felt ignored, but just little enough that we didn't feel like they were always around. We will definitely be back again.

Had a great stay here. Site 1 is the perfect spot.
Wonderful play area for family activities, volleyball, yard games. Bathhouse was very clean and supplied. Appreciated the shade trees and seeing deer. Space was easy pull-through and flat for our 31 foot 5th-wheel with 2 slide outs. Definitely on the repeat list! 😀

We did a combo of tent and car camping. Lots of room on the site, campground itself is quiet and isolated. There are several tent sites on the property arranged in a circle with cabins, rvs, and a moblie home. Sites are right next to each other in a typical campground pattern. There is a bathhouse that was clean and maintained while we were there. It had seperate men's and women's with two toilets and a shower stall in each. There was a small wooden playground structure the kids enjoyed. Residents in the mobile home have a dog they kept leashed and there was minimal barking. Only noise was some road noise and a rooster who got up late and went to bed early.

We have stayed here many times and it is always a great stay. We camp in October and often are the only tent/car campers here. The heated bathroom is great in the chill of October!

Spot was easy to find and well labeled. Land was flat and great for our rooftop tent. Nice mature trees all over the property so it was easy to use the hammock and dog run. Bath house was clean, great water pressure and hot water. We stayed at spot 10, there was a large gap between us and a cabin on one side. We did not have any neighbors at spot 9 but it was really close to us.

Great site and attentive owners- really lovely place especially if you are not the “Mr and Mrs Diesel Pusher” crowd. This is a place to slow down and relax, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get to amenities and such. We will be making future trips there and we hope that number is high!

Great little spot!! It was relaxing and clean. We ordered firewood and eggs. Firewood was ready at the campsite. Danielle and Rusty came by to our campsite with fresh eggs and asked if anything needed. Restroom and shower were clean and well maintained, which was a plus for us.

This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was a good one! The campground had really great tree coverage, so everything stayed nice and cool. Our site (#1) was spacious - perfect for having dogs and kids at. I expected road noise based on a previous review, but it was very minor, not at all loud. Speaking of noise, this is probably one of the quietest campgrounds I’ve been to. The bathhouse was centrally located and felt very clean. The women’s side had 2 toilet stalls, 1 shower, 2 sinks. The hosts checked in twice during our stay. Once to say welcome and the other time to ask if we wanted firewood, etc. Newaygo is about 15-20 minutes from here and offers shops, cafes, pizza, a brewery, etc. There are several trailheads nearby for hiking and roadside parks as well. We only stayed a night, so we mostly hung out on the site. But my nephew had plenty to do between exploring the campground, playing on the giant play place, and riding the bikes in the pavilion. We are very happy and would definitely return!

The area was nice. It was close to a few trails but not much else. The limited camping spots made for a private stay which was comfortable. Overall, no big complaints. If you like taking it easy by the fire for the weekend this is a good place.

This camp site was cute and the site was very easy to find. We ordered firewood and it was waiting at our campsite when we arrived. The owners were so friendly and drove by to ask if needed anything. Stores are about 15 minutes away and a lake was about 10 minutes away. Would recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised with the grounds. Our usual camping spot about 20 mins south was out of the question, so I turned to Hipcamp and found this spot. Was shocked to find such well-maintained, quiet tent camping last minute on a holiday weekend. Wouldn’t quite call it rustic due to our standards, but was great and our kids loved the playground. Groundskeepers checked in an appropriate amount to give us privacy, but also ensure all was well throughout the grounds. Will certainly return!
