Site # 2 is medium grassy Campsite with a 6ft picnic table, a 36" fire ring, log seats, a hanging grill for the fire pit and a strand of solar lights. there is also an additional mowed grassy area for additional tents or parking we do have a rooster that likes to crow in the morning. this site is smaller than campsite #1 and slightly farther away from the toilet and farm. All camp sites are behind the pasture area and are tucked into spaces surrounded by oaks and pines. each site has sun and shade spaces. Wooded areas with lots of oaks or an open meadow spotted with giant white pines. Site #1 a large site closest to the pasture area and encircled on 3 sides by trees. this site includes a picnic table, propane bbq, fire pit, log seats and a strand of solar light. Site # 2 a medium size site, in the grassy meadow area, surrounded by white pines on 3 sides. this site includes a picnic table and a fire pit , there is also a hanging grill for the fire pit. log seats and a strand of solar lights. this sight has a mowed overflow area for more tents We are very Close to the Cedar Chase Golf Club. they do rent equipment and have a bar and grill if you wanted to try your hand at golf. We are 4 miles from the town of Cedar Springs. there is a Meijer, goodwill, all other emanates include a few great eating spots. the Cedar Springs Brewery and Red Bird Bistro are our favorites. there is also a natural goods/ herb store called Perry's Place. Lots of supplements, essential oils, soaps and natural body care. we are also with in ear shot of the Red Flannel Gun Club. Sometimes there is lots of shooting. Much of the time it is peaceful & quiet. It is always quiet in the night. We have lots of wildlife. Deer, woodchucks, birds and turtles. We see some Wild Turkeys also. You might hear coyotes, bobcats or foxes in the night, but I have personally never seen these animals. We also have a very cute resident groundhog, perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to see him. We also have 22 Chickens that include 1 rooster ( Our Rooster does crow in the morning and sporadic times through out the day. he is quiet at night) we have a few cayuga ducks that free range and a bee yard with 24 bee hives. All camp sites are behind the pasture area and are tucked into spaces surrounded by oaks and pines. each site has sun and shade spaces. Wooded areas with lots of oaks or an open meadow spotted with giant white pines. It's about 100 yds to the outhouse. Campers are welcome to join me for morning or evening chores. Once you have met the animals with me, you may go into the pasture and sit with them during the day. I received a warm welcome from Pamela. She happily obliged all my questions about the goats! The tent site was comfortable, surrounded by beautiful pine trees and nice wandering walking trails. The outhouse was cute and clean. The eggs were delicious! I will keep this place in mind for another time.

Loved my experience! Was just looking to spend a night under the stars and get out of Grand Rapids for a night and this was the perfect spot for it. Had the campground to myself, since it was still March. All was quiet and peaceful. Wish I could’ve had time to meet the animals! I do plan to come back sometime to do so. Got some farm fresh eggs and left feeling rejuvenated. Thanks so much!!

Pamela was a gracious host. It was easy to relax and enjoy nature with all the thoughtful amenities and peaceful land. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful getaway! We will certainly go back when we find ourself in the area.

We loved camping at Pamela's little farm. We're from the Netherlands so my english is not that good. The sites are so beautiful. Site 3 is cozy on a bed of pine needles, with a picknick table with beautiful solar lamps above the table. Pamela showed us around the animals and it was very nice to have a chat with her. The goats and sheep were so nice and so soft to caress. The toilet was so cute!

We loved camping at Pamela's little farm. We're from the Netherlands so my english is not that good. The sites are so beautiful. Site 1 is Large and with a picknick table with beautiful solar lamps above the table. Site 1 and 2 had a campfire. Pamela showed us around the animals and it was very nice to have a chat with her. The goats and sheep were so nice and so soft to caress. The toilet was very cute!

A lovely little farm…

Pamala (host) is so welcoming and nice. I’ve been to Hen & Hive many times and it’s always a delight. The animals are an added bonus. Site one is a bigger site for a little larger group. Site two is my favorite. You’re nestled in between beautiful massive white pines. It’s very private and cozy. Fresh ones and eggs also. I highly recommend.

Great time pitching my tent and cooking out over the firepit! I was on a solo motorcycle trip and this was the perfect stay along the way. The outhouse is exceptionally clean and unique with the small touches of products they make there on their property so cool! Lastly loved the hammock as well to relax on.

fantastic stay at this beautiful pine grove. greeted on our way in by a parade of ducks and curious goats. we spent two nights in the circle of pines. the property as a whole is a magical island. very well kept. campsites are private. the outhouse is clean and fresh and cozy. we made sure to pick up some eggs and honey at the farm stand on our way out. Pamela is a fantastic host. we look forward to staying again! y + d

Absolutely wonderful little site and fabulous host. Upon arrival, we found the site stocked with drinking water and the bundle of wood we ordered. So many wonderful little details that made this trip a joy. The solar string of lights at the site lit just enough to see what you are doing without having to carry a flashlight. The "kindling bucket" was more than expected with home made fire starters as well as a long handled lighter. And the outhouse..... By far the nicest smelling and well stocked one I have encountered thus far. The hand washing station and complimentary bug spray on the outside is simply over the top and truly appreciated. Thank you. There are so many other details that made our stay here absolutely the best. We will certainly be back again!!!!!

So this place is a gem of a place to stay at. Pamela is fantastic and has done great with setting up such a nice getaway. Firewood is ready along with some of the products she makes from her honey all which are very reasonably priced. We ended up waking to a flat tire due to rim leak and Pamela was beyond helpful with her tools and time to help get us on the road again. We will be returning in near future to help with some chores on the farm.thanks again.

We loved our stay in Cedar Springs in Hen and Hive Provisions. Despite the weather not agreeing with us much, our host helped make sure we had extra kindling and supplies to help our campfires survive the on and off downpours. The land is beautiful, right out in nature. We had the place all to ourselves, but if the other sites were occupied that land is big enough where it would still feel private. The sheep and goats were very friendly and meeting some of the babies was a joy! Her products are also amazing so be sure to try them out. Highly recommend this stay!!!

Pamela was quickly responsive, gave very clear instructions for arrival, and the pathways were clearly marked, which made arriving later at night and out of cell range much less stressful! She also anticipated the possible lack of cell service and had wifi information included in the initial instructions. The 3 camping spots were large and separated from other campers by lines of pine trees, so you have privacy. The string lights and picnic table were also very cute! I wish I hadn’t just been passing through and had more time to enjoy it!

A beautiful farm with lovely gardens, adorable goats, sheep and chickens. Monty the cat is a lovable little $h*t! I feel like he gets around and is affectionate and welcoming to all the campers. Site one is definitely for a larger group. While site two is nestled in the trees and feels private. Pamala is AMAZING and makes you feel welcome and included. Feeding and loving up the baby goats was an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back throughout the summer and fall.

Last minute booked this site and drove from Ohio to stay the night, just me and my dog. Arrived and the site was nestled on this beautiful property with water and fire starting supplies already given!! The outhouse was clean and not a far walk at all. Got to hold baby goats in the morning before I left, so adorable!! Pamela was so down to earth!! Bought some honey that her farm produces!! Highly recommend booking this site, definitely coming back!!

Best Hip Camp Spot in Michigan.

The most magical little camp site in West Michigan. Stayed for a weekend with my partner to enjoy his birthday weekend and we could not have had more fun. The site felt very private and secluded, there were zero farm smells like one might think (Pamela takes exceptional care of the property and farm), the additional amenities were perfect, the outhouse was outfitted with everything you could want plus more, and best of all BABY GOATS WERE BORN WHILE WE WERE THERE and we had the opportunity to see and visit the other babies and animals. Pamela was an excellent host! Prompt and detailed communication for our arrival and throughout our stay. You can tell Pamela cares a great deal for the animals and the camp experience. Note to future campers! Though the outhouse is stocked with bug spray I would suggest bringing extra defense for the mosquitos. Once we laid out extra deterrents we were great. Can’t wait to come back one day… hopefully soon!

An incredibly pleasant stay.

One of the best camping experiences we have had. It feels both secluded but open and friendly if you want it to be. Pamela is an excellent host and communicated well. We stayed in Site #1 which had a lot of space for multiple tents, had a hammock, a picnic table with solar lights, and a campfire with log seats. The outhouse was the nicest I’ve ever seen and there’s a sink with soap next to it. Pamela sells firewood, eggs, and honey when available on the property. Overall it was an incredible experience and we want to stay there again.
