Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm! Here are a few ground rules to help with your stay -PLEASE READ SO NONE OF THIS IS A SURPRISE-: -Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!) - OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there. -This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers. - Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property. -Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times. You can enjoy the following on our sites: - Free, unlimited wood for your campfires. Each site comes with a fire ring. - Seating arrangements (picnic table, wrought iron loungers and chairs and wood benches). - Charming outhouse situated over a septic certified holding tank with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Site #4 is the largest of our 4 sites that includes a trail that leads right to the water. There are multiple seating areas, including a picnic bench and it has the largest fire ring of our sites with a grate to grill over. You can enjoy views of the water, pasture and woods here. Site 4 is also one of two sites where you can hear the soothing babbling water flowing over the rocks. Take a dip or enjoy floating peacefully in the creek. Overland vehicles are welcome to park and camp in the camping area. No visitors allowed, only those booking a site may come onto the property.

Tent sites 3 sites

Site #3 includes a wooden platform nestled in between tall bamboo overlooking the creek. This is a beautiful, private site to practice yoga or to put up your tent. It Includes a picnic table and seats as well as a fire ring for your campfires. There is a mowed path to access the creek within 10 feet of platform. No Overland vehicle camping in the camping area, tents only. You are free to sleep in your vehicle in the parking area which is only 20ft away from the camping area. No visitors allowed, only those booking a site may come onto the property.

Site #2 sits about 4 feet above the creek edge. There is also an area at the site that has been carved out and is shaded by bamboo. This is a nice area to enjoy a meal on the patio set provided. You can also move the patio set if you’d like to put your tent there instead. There are a few chairs at this site and a small table. Fire ring is included for your campfires. A path exists that leads straight to the creek for swimming or floating. No Overland vehicle camping in the camping area, tents only. You are free to sleep in your vehicle in the parking area which is only 20ft away from the camping area. No visitors allowed, only those booking a site may come onto the property.

Site #1 is best suited for 2 people. It is a creek-side hidden little grove of Osage Orange trees. Enjoy lounging by the fire, or listening to the burbling creek. This site while closest to the entrance, still feels very private thanks to the trees. No Overland vehicle camping in the camping area, tents only. You are free to sleep in your vehicle in the parking area which is only 20ft away from the camping area. No visitors allowed, only those booking a site may come onto the property.

The Perfect Getaway

The site was very clean and looked better in person than in the photos! Scott was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, including dry fire wood. The other sites are very close by in proximity, yet you have plenty of privacy at the site and we could barely hear the fellow campers at the other sites. It was the perfect quick getaway from Baltimore to sit by the creek and enjoy the sounds of nature. Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at site #2 Bywater. It was a beautiful spot next to the creek. We nestled our tent into the bamboo alcove and had plenty of privacy. We will definitely stay here again!

Great campsite on a creek

This was a beautifully situated and cared for campsite. Scott was a great host who checked in on us - including during a thunderstorm. It was an hour from Baltimore and a perfect quick camping getaway. And fwiw that was one of the cleanest wooden outhouses I have ever used! We can’t wait to come back.

This was a beautiful place to camp! The site was right along side a lovely creek. Had great hammock-hanging trees. There were other groups camping at the nearby sites, but they were far enough away we couldn't see them and only barely heard them. I also want to mention the bathroom - that was the cleanest outdoor bathroom I've ever seen! We will definitely be back!

Great site, great host!

We stayed at Site #4 and it was beautiful. It's right on a pretty stream and the site has a picnic table, a large fire ring, 2 large campfire benches & access to firewood. We brought our own water along. The outhouse is a bit of a hike from the site so next time we'll bring our outhouse tent and portable potty along. We saw our host, Scott, when we arrived and he was courteous and gracious. He even sent us a message when a totally unexpected thunderstorm was about to roll in. We got our stuff in the tent just in time. We will definitely recommend Creekside Orchard to our friends and visit again in the future.

Don't want too many people to know, but this site is too good to keep to myself. Secluded yet only minutes away from civilization. Pristine land and creek, and really appreciated the hand carved benches and shelves, as well as the fire pit and cooking grate. The outhouse is super clean, and host even provides unlimited wood. What's not to like? Would absolutely recommend.

peaceful evening

We stayed one night at Site 2. Loved the privacy of the little bamboo grove where we pitched our tent. The pine firewood smelled wonderful and the creek was so alive with birds. In the evening we saw several bats and even a blue heron coming in to land for the night. Scott was a gracious and kind host, would definitely return.

Early Season Camping

We had a very nice overnight stay. It was nice to hear the bamboo creaking in the wind at night, and there was plenty of space to pitch our two tents. Scott was prompt to response to the few questions I sent him, and the land was easy to find via the GPS address. I’d absolutely come back for another stay.

I had the absolute pleasure of camping at Site #2 - Bywater at Creekside Orchard, and it was an unforgettable experience! This small, quaint campsite is a hidden gem, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. The serene creekside setting, surrounded by the beauty of the orchard, made every moment peaceful and rejuvenating. Scott, the host, was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. It is clear he takes great pride in creating a welcoming experience for his guests. Site #2 itself was perfect—cozy, well-maintained, and just the right size for a relaxing getaway. The sound of the creek nearby was precisely what I needed to get away from the every day bustle. It was a great spot for a quiet retreat, this place is a must-visit. Looking forward to returning. Beautiful!

This is my favorite site to camp at, ever! The location is absolutely beautiful and unique, especially when the sun shines through the bamboo thicket. Scott is an amazing host and super friendly. He greeted me soon after I arrived for a short orientation and even offered to blow away some dead leaves to clear out the campsite for us. Overall, the sites are well-kept and far enough apart to negate noise from other campers, and the outhouse was clean and always stocked with toilet paper. There were also a couple craft breweries right down the road to grab a drink and some good food. My friends and I agree, we will absolutely be returning to Creekside Orchard when we can! Thank you for the amazing camping experience!

Really nice spot! You can hear and access the creek from the site and it's really peaceful. There is a good amount of distance between you and the other sites. It's less than 30 minutes to Susquehanna State Park. Rocks State Park is even closer, and two breweries are right down the road. We loved our stay!

We had a great time camping! The site was super clean and spacious. Our dogs were so happy and enjoyed the space as well. Scott was super friendly and even brought us some dry wood as some of the fire wood was wet from humidity and rain. We will definitely be back again.

Scott is awesome host attneded to our greetings and provided support if we had any questions. This campsite is perfect without it being overly crowded with other campers. Site #2 is perfect size for a couple and dog. The bamboo forest added a ambiance change and provided rain cover. The water added a touch of scenery as well. Porty potty access straight up the path with toilet paper available. The area feels secluded and the ability to drive to a gas station for quick errands helps out.

Family Fun times!!!

We have visited this Property multiple times and it is, by far our favorite. We were greeted by a smiling host who has always treated us like old friends. He allowed us to check out his Vintage Studebaker wagon that was simply amazing. You do not see those Gems very often!! Our daughter was celebrating her 30th birthday and we took advantage of spending it together. We were able to enjoy the stream as a family including our Pups. Scott keeps his property well maintained and the campsites are laid out well. We camp with a truck camper and site 4 accommodates us very nicely. The location is perfect for us.... Only about an hour drive from southeastern Baltimore County! We are looking forward to going back!!

Mixed feelings

Beautiful piece of land tucked away in paradise. We had a great night by the creek. You do have to be aware of water snakes but they’re harmless if you leave them alone. Overall this is a great spot for camping and Scott is very nice guy who checked on us to make sure we were safe and happy and then left us alone. Would highly recommend!

This was my second stay at Creekside Orchard this summer. First time I stayed at site #3, and this time at site #1. It was just a tad bit smaller, but with the layout offered so much privacy. There were 2 access points to get in the creek, and Scott was so kind to show me how to enter in as safely as possible. He even showed me that there were wild wine berries for picking, but I was too afraid to indulge, haha! The unlimited wood and quaint out house were once again appreciated. If you love to hear the sound of the babbling water at night, this is your spot!

We loved this property! Scott came and welcomed us and was so nice. The area is beautiful with access to the water which was refreshing and everyone from the other camp sites stayed in their area so it felt very secluded. The outhouse was nice and had lights at night and the provided firewood was a life saver! Overall would highly recommend camping here and I am excited to camp here again!

Seclusion meets security!

This past weekend I stayed at spot #3, Bamboo. It was serene.... It was the perfect size spot for my set up, I'm a minimalist. This spot may be small for folks with a lot of gear or a large tent. As a solo female camper, I'm always looking for places I can go and enjoy some solitude, and feel safe at the same time. This place was perfect for me! I had a private path to enter in to the creek for some fun in the water on such a warm day. The unlimited wood was awesome, I took full advantage of it. Such a unique touch that you don't see offered often. Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed the cute and clean outside for emergencies, LOL. Scott was kind and thorough with instructions prior to my arrival. He also stopped by to say hi when I arrived. His land is absolutely beautiful! I'll most certainly be back again soon.

What a cool back yard!

Scott was great, very attentive and friendly - even my young son commented on what a nice guy he is. We had a great stay overall - although a rough start - a quick downpour caused the little pier to get so slippery, we both took a spill - some grip tape on the first and last few boards would be greatly beneficial. Absolutley loved the ample firewood supply and access to so much of the property. And the nightly firefly show, fun for all ages! Hope to be back soon!!
