We are an organic vegetable farm and apple orchard. We also raise sheep, pigs, and make maple syrup. Half the land is forested, some is pasture, and other is growing fields for vegetables. We have an on farm store people visit daily. The farm is 10 minutes from the town of River falls which is on the Kinnickinnic River and has some great trails and fishing. We are about 45 minutes from [xxxxxxxx], MN.The yurt is between fields of vegetables, pasture, and forest. A row of pines add to privacy. The yurt has running cold water, electricity, full kitchen with fridge, stove, counter, sink, and cooking supplies. There is a private outhouse and an semi-outdoor shower, located in a little greenhouse near the yurt. The shower has hot water. There is also a full size futon bed, wood stove, tables, and deck for morning coffee.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Yurt On Farm

We had the most lovely stay on Lindsey’s farm! The yurt was cozy and safe during a sudden thunderstorm. We enjoyed wandering the land and seeing all of the vegetables, orchard, and animals. I absolutely recommend staying at Rising Sun Farm!
