I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! Both Kathleen and her husband were so welcoming, and I was able to really relax. They were even kind enough to share some of the extra apples they had at the end of the season. I hope to come back in the summer sometime for goat yoga!

This really is a beautiful property with lots of spa e to pitch a tent or bring your camper. It was fun to see the goats and meet the great hosts. You do have to be ok with dogs, as the very friendly dogs love to greet people. We highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were very easy going, communicative, and extremely welcoming! Loved the water fountain, the fire put area, and the goats! They even squeezed me in to their last goat yoga class of the season. Memories made there for sure ❤️

This site was very nice and we receive a warm welcome from the hosts and their dogs. The pond became our favorite spot as we relaxed watching birds flying around. We would camp here again

Kathleen‘s land is a beautiful setting. The pond, the goats, the dogs, the park-like setting were all highlights for us. My wife and I were the only campers there. What a wonderful two days of rest and relaxation! Absolutely gorgeous!
A real plus was being able to drive the 1.5 miles into Tenino for groceries and the Saturday Market. We were also able to ride our bikes from the farm into town to pick up the rails-to-trails that leave from there. Having both the Tenino-Ranier-Yelm and the Chehalis Western Trails do close was such a great recreational treat. Walkers and bicyclists will enjoy this option!

Had a fun time camping at the goat farm! Only had one night and didn't make much use of the communal area (campfire, picnic tables) but everything was laid out nicely. Many good areas to pitch our large tent. Animals were fun to watch! Would recommend.

I needed a place to crash fairly late in the day. The owners were accommodating and lovely. Property was clean and secluded. Port a potty on site. Picnic tables if ya need em. 100% recommended.

We went for a day get away in our trailer, with family from out of town. It was a very peaceful relaxing environment and we had a great time. It was very neat and clean. We loved the welcoming committee (dogs) and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back in the future and will recommend the site to friends. It would be an ideal spot for small group camping. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Stone City. The property was gorgeous, the goats adorable, and the location has great access to Rainier National Park and Olympia. The port-a-potty was probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen and the pond in the center of the property adds great ambience.
The only downside: the yellowjackets. There isn’t anything the property owners can really do considering it’s that time of year for the yellowjackets to go nuts, but just be advised if anyone in your party has an allergy. They would leave us alone after sunset but they were quite persistent if we were cooking.
All in all we would gladly return. The yellowjackets were really only a mild annoyance to an otherwise fantastic stay. And hey, the mosquitos were barely present which I think makes up for it!

We had a very short, but sweet stay at Kathleen’s. Our favorite things: the animals, the setting, the amenities (the port-a-potty was very clean), the blackberries, and the price. We also loved the sound of the wolves from Wolf Haven! If you’re someone who is a light sleeper, you may be sensitive to the sounds from the road and the occasional train, but we didn’t find it bothersome.
We wish we could have stayed longer to learn more about the farm, but our 19-month-old and the weather had other plans, so we decided to leave early. We would stay again!

This was a charming place! We stayed overnight in a semi-communal tent area and enjoyed the communal fire pit and picnic tables. If you’re looking for a unique camping experience this is it. Our stay happened to coincide with goat yoga the next morning making it an even more magical experience. If you don’t mind rustic (portapotty only) and casual this is your place!

We LOVED camping at Stone City Farm! Kathleen couldn't have been a more wonderful host, we had a lovely time hanging out by the campfire with her, the dogs, and the other guests. The camp ground/property is absolutely stunning and a real treat to anyone who stays. The goats are so friendly and don't make a peep during the night or early in the morning. 10/10 would stay here again!

We loved our stay! We brought our dog who loved exploring the farm. The tent site was comfortable and spacious. The common areas were very well kept and we really enjoyed the fire pit! Nice to chat with some of the other visitors as well! The highlight was the hosts super friendly and sweet doggos.

The pros to this spot would be that it was clean, felt safe, had good proximity to Olympia and Mount Rainier NP, and was at a nice price point for campers on epic road trips looking for good deals. For the cons- Be sure to read the description closely: the host details that the spots are close to the road so there is road noise, a train and airfield nearby and neighborhood dogs. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best spot for you. That being said, the noise only bothered us the first night. We were tent camping on this particular trip and the tent spots are very close to the road and very far (300+ feet) from the portapotty and water spigot. The host is very hands off, which is fine, just made the experience feel less like the community of Hipcamp that we’ve come to expect based on our experiences with other hosts up to this point who seem to be interested in making sure you enjoy your stay and are comfortable. This experience felt more to us like a way for the host to make money off campers with the bare minimum of effort. We just got a less welcoming vibe than we have become accustomed to receiving at other Hipcamps, but perhaps you get what you pay for? Or perhaps our stay lined up with a particularly busy or stressful point in our host’s life? Either way, despite the pros, we won’t be coming back.

We loved staying here. It was a very quiet and relaxing weekend. They offer goat yoga which is amazing as well. The dogs , goats, and cow are a fun addition to the property as well. We would love to stay here again.

This peaceful property was just what my tween kids and I needed. I’m so jealous of what they have done with their land. My 13 year old enjoyed watching and petting the goats, and the occasional friendly farm dog who came over. We even had a tiny, wild bunny visitor to our tent a couple times and a deer bid us adieu as we drove off the property. It’s so generous of the owners to share this spot with visitors like us.
