25 years ago, we camped this spot and dreamed of building a house here. The view was so captivating. Needless to say, we’ve been here 20+yrs and still camping our land. Now we are sharing the beautiful landscape and remote feel that's so close to so much to see and do. We love where we are and we think you will too. Oh and I should also mention, you must love dogs. We have 3 plus 2 cats and chickens. Isolated or wide open. 1 tent or group camping. No electricity or water hookups. Free Access to water hose. We do not allow recreational motorized vehicles, firearms or bows. This is a peaceful serene getaway. We also have Airbnb rentals that consist of our home, that's also listed as "Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County", a travel trailer referred to as "Wildwood 17' Western RV and an RV listed as "Boutique RV at Wild Meadows". See trees, birds, lightning bugs and gorgeous views of Rutherford county. 5 min. from water. Swim, bike, fish, walk or run. Boating 15 min. from Percy priest lake. 10 min. from Cedars of Lebanon state park. 5 min. from Murfreesboro. 15 min. from downtown Murfreesboro. On the city square, there's live music first Friday every month. Fantastic farmers market sat mornings in the summer, starting in May. Checkout “Quarter Spring Farm” goat soap booth. Tell Heather hello for us. Her lemongrass and clove soap are my favorites. 30 min. from Nashville. 5 min. from Greenway walking trails. 20 min. from shopping. Hundreds of restaurants within a 20 min. radius. Championship soccer park 10 min. Sports com 15 min./workout or Olympic size pool w/slides and fantastic playground with Amazing handicap baseball field. Historic: Stones River Battlefield 20 min. Oakland’s Mansion 20 min. #4 Peris Retreat
Lovely quiet meadow to sleep in. Lots of beautiful fireflies to see over the fields this time of year.

Site #4
Site was okay but the dogs barked at your car/tent during the night and we could not get sleep.

Great stop
We loved our stop at Ken and Tina’s place. We arrived late and it was dark but directions were great and we found our site quick and easily! The site was beautiful private and the moon view was amazing! Would stay again!

Activities are not accurate
Pros: Clean space Nice dog roaming around Able to get firewood yourself pretty easily Cons: The firewood “bundle” was lacking in my opinion The listing mentions a lake, fishing, and hiking. There is none of that without getting in your car and leaving the property well off-site. We did some exploring, but there are barbed wire fences the limit that pretty severely where we were.

#2 Kennas camp
Me and my boyfriend stayed at site number 3 for our two year anniversary. We tent camped. It was absolutely beautiful and very private. Ken and Tina were super nice! Their dogs greeted us immediately and they were one of the best parts of our little trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

Camping in the pasture, price and q
We stayed 2 days during our niece’s soccer tournament in our class c RV in #1 site. It was quiet, wooded on both sides, grassy but with a gravel track that we parked on. Sunny during the am through mid day then got some shade. A bit of a steep slope, so bring your extra leveling aids! We met Tina and her dogs. They were all friendly. We had our 3 dogs with us and they really enjoyed the stay.
