Nestled in the middle of 1800 acres of forest and fields in a shared land trust, Hoot Owl Campground is your easiest way to visit The Farm Community. Founded in 1971 and based on the principles of non-violence and stewardship of the land, The Farm is now home to around 200 people and 20 businesses. Hoot Owl Hollow (FKA Ecovillage Training Center) has been providing hospitality, rooms and camping for up to 30 people at a time since 1994. Learn more about this land: Beautiful view of our valley and forest with a covered tent platform off the ground. Site is just off the beaten path to provide convenient privacy. Our guests receive access to the communal kitchen, bathrooms and showers along with a huge hall to gather and socialize with other guests. Short hikes in multiple directions lead to wonderful flowing creeks, waterfalls and a 7' deep swimming hole.Beautiful view of our valley and forest with a covered tent platform off the ground. Quiet and peaceful place where everyone is friendly. They have many options for places to stay including a cabin and rooms in the community center

Jason greeted me and gave me a tour. I like to hipcamp at interesting places and this certainly qualifies. The platform is sturdy with a metal roof. I was invited to their entertainment space for a Tai Chi class.
