Site 96 - Drifting Meadows is here!

Hello! We are Drifting Meadows. A small community located just shy of three hours from Atlanta. Nestled in the Tennessee mountains. Not far from Chattanooga and Knoxville.  Primitive camp spots "with community campfire" available with quick access to nearby waterfalls, a lake, and many hiking trailheads. You can also get into town to see live bluegrass bands on the weekends or stop by the local bakery for some amazing fresh food selections. We provide fire wood and portable toilets.  Please note that we are off grid so we request that you use all degradable products if possible. (shower supplies are provided). Also, we do request that any trash/recycling products are taken with you when you leave. Looking forward to hosting you.

My husband, daughter and I had an amazing night around the campfire and watching the stars. Beautiful property and great hostess. Rebekah was very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Not a place I'd stay a long period, but if you need a stop for a night I think it would be ok. The over all feel is that its more set up for an adult only a little more on the enjoy your weekend style. While I did have two kids there over all I don't think its the best place for them. -The waterfall is not *on site* - Only one firepit for the tent area - shower we didn't use - communication could have been better with stay and leaving times. - needs an area or trash bin -Take drinking water. Once Drifting Meadows gets a little more experience behind them I think they will have a decent area, but for now there needs to be some clarity on things.

Here I am making my first bad review in life. I really wanted to like this place but it definitely wasn’t as advertised. There are no quick access to trails or waterfalls upon many others amenities that were listed. The host rebekah was very rude and didn’t offer any sympathy when we spoke. And actually said she was going to leave me a review for calling her out. I wouldn’t recommend this place so I hope this is helpful for someone else reading this because I believe the other reviews are from friends. I ended up leaving early after one night and didn’t get a refund but definitely learned my lesson. The place has potential but still needs to be made into what is being advertised.

This is a great place to stay, it's affordable, in a great location, and the hosts are very kind and hospitable people. Rebecca and Bryan are setting a higher standard for the industry, and they know how to treat a guest like a friend. The area is quiet and serene with great amenities, and is close to bald river falls, the cherohala skyway, and the tail of the dragon. 11/10 will definitely stay again.
