Nous avons adoré cette étape chez Heidi. We loved our stay at Heidi’s place. The welcome was incredibly warm. Heidi is kind, has a contagious joy, and offers great advice. The spots are right on the Rogue River. If you love nature and fishing, this is the perfect place. - L’accueil a été des plus chaleureux. Excellent private water front spot

This not a traditional campground as one might expect. Instead it's a very well maintained and laid out private land with amenities like outdoor shower with instant hot water, porta potty, grass, direct access to the river, fire pits if the season allows it and privacy and security behind locked gates. The host was great and took a lot of time showing us around and talking about their property. Shows the passion for making the guest experience that of any fancy hotel. We were there for a quick one night stay so unfortunately we didn't get a lot of time there but we did get to see a Bald eagle and watch the sun set and just hang by the river for a bit before hitting the road early the next morning. Next time we pass through town i'd definitely stay again.

This camp place was definitely one of the best I stayed in my trip, Hal is such a great host friendly and lovely. Really loved and enjoyed my time there, the river is amazing, the place is so peaceful to enjoy and all the amenities make the stay more pleasant. I’ll be back.

Heidi was so nice! This is a great spot. We tent camped on the grass, and dipped in the river right when we got there! Heidi was super welcoming and helpful. We absolutely love this spot it’s great! Hopefully we’ll be back for our next river trip! Porto was very clean and lit up at night :)

This spot won’t disappoint! With 115 degrees in the valley it was so refreshing to dunk in the lovely rouge river, which you have direct and private access to. Hal was an extraordinary host and was so responsive, helpful and got us settled right in! Gated too in case you have kids Just a short drive to shops, but you also feel fully in nature. Setting sun and rising moon over the river while you float down river on pool noodles (we brought our own) and walk back up stream to do it again- and again- and again. Very kid safe and super fun. Check this spot out and look no further- this is your prime camping destination on rouge river and with hip camp. ❤️ ps- did I say host was awesome? So helpful!

This was a great place to stay. It was right on the river. The kids enjoyed swimming and playing. Hal is very accommodating. I was a little worried when the description said outside shower but it was very nice and warm and cleaner than most of the other places we stayed.

Great spot for my overnight stay. Plugged in my van and had a good night's sleep. Woke up to a flat tire, but Hal had a generator and helped me inflate my tire so I could make it to the tire store.

Incredible place on the Rogue - Hal is so welcoming and her property is well maintained and managed. Couldn’t imagine a better stay. It was exactly what we remembered and we will be back! Did a stop over on a trip years ago and this year we made it the destination and spent a couple nights! Thanks so much Hal - we loved it.

Absolutely stunning site to camp at! Right by a beautiful river that is immersed in a forested area. We had our RV with us and we’re greeted graciously upon arrival with water + electric hookups as well as some lovely pillow mints - such a sweet gesture. Our host was so incredibly helpful and was so nice even though we arrived a bit later in the evening. I would recommend this site to people that want more of an outdoorsy experience and especially a great pit stop if you are on a long road trip. My wife and I would definitely stay at this place again. Thank you :)

Hal is literally the sweetest human! Every time i stay, I have the best conversation, I feel safe and supported and she is the MOST accommodating! Everyone should stay here. The river is beautiful and peaceful, dog friendly and the vibes are good!! Perfect for a quick over night and a longer stay!

The place was OK, but not as nice as it looked in the photograph, and I was disturbed by the nonstop highway noise until at least 9:00 p.m., both on the road behind the camp and also on the other side of the river. I was disappointed that the staircase to the riverfront was blocked off and I couldn't walk down to the river at all. The person who met me and let me in was very nice after I had trouble finding where to turn to enter the camp area.

E-bike weekend

We absolutely loved waking up to this gorgeous river view and having our coffee here at Rogues Rock Hip camp. Our close group took up all 3 sites so we had it to ourselves which was great with our dogs. Heidi and Hal treated us like family and made sure we all had what we needed. We took our e-bikes on a fantastic ride to Gold Hill to have breakfast at Hal’s favorite spot, Patti’s Kitchen and stopped at The winery on the way home. The couple also recommended Rivers Edge for dinner and the food was amazing. … Thank you H&H for such a great weekend and teaching us LCR! Until we meet again, CHEERS!! Doug and Janine

Truly a slice of paradise! You don’t want to pass this up! Heidi is so kind and welcoming! She makes you feel like family! We came to this spot very last minute because a RV resort near by stopped responding about our reservation. We pulled up and were instantly welcomed by Heidi and the river! We travel with nursing contracts so it’s always a hit or a miss when you pull up to a Hipcamp. We stayed here for a few weeks and it was better than we could imagine. Our pups loved playing by the water and we loved hanging out with Heidi! She’s got a huge outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, a port-o potty, and so many recommendations on what to do around town! If you’re staying here during the warm months you can go float/kayak/tube down the river and get off right at the house! So convenient!

Aside from being alongside a busy road, this is a great spot. The camping space is just a patch of lawn, but the outdoor kitchen area is terrific -- gas griddle with two burners, a big sink, and built-in seating. Clean porta-potty, plus an outdoor shower we didn't use. Friendly and communicative host.

Beautiful property river is great only reason I wouldn’t go back is due to it being not very kid friendly i have 3 and 4 year old. Maybe when kids are older. Hal was very nice and friendly!

Hidden Gem on the Rogue

We absolutely loved our trip to Rogue Rocks RV&B. This is our 2nd year camping at Hal’s and we loved it so much last year that we brought 7 of our friends to camp with us this year. Hal is an amazing host and goes way above and beyond to make sure that everyone has a great time and is safe and happy. This is a hidden gem and if you like amazing sunsets, views and being right on the water than Rogue Rocks is the place to go to unwind. We can’t wait until next year and more fun adventures!

Great place to stop

We were driving from Sacramento to Portland and decided to stop half way. This was a great half way point. The host was super friendly. The shower was awesome. The outdoor kitchen was very convenient. The bath room was the best of it's kind that I have ever been in. I would absolutely come back. The spots all back up to the river which is great!
