Peek into our 96.5-acre backyard. You’ll be navigating your way through extra wide trails (and some cool new singletracks) surrounding a massive pond (that exists thanks to some clever, hardworking beavers). It will be hard not to get distracted by the breathtaking colours of the natural, unlogged woodlands full of mature maple, birch, balsam fir, and endless evergreen trees. Don’t forget to watch where you’re running – many leopard frogs, salamanders, and snakes live here too! 😉 Walking distance to Skootamatta lake boat launch. 6kms to Bon Echo Provincial Park.

Tent #3 is a 4-meter, 4-season canvas bell tent on a platform in the forest equipped with a double bed, (room for two cots by request), and a nakie hammock with a bug net and canopy. When you're not foraging, hiking or fishing, you can enjoy your marshmallows by the firepit and grab a game, puzzle, or book by the flameless candles inside. There is access to a bbq and an outhouse with a composting toilet just steps away.

No need to bring anything with you! This 4 season, 4 meter bell tent is equipped with everything you need. Two single beds, dressed with sheets and a nakie quilted blanket. Outside you'll find a firepit and access to a bbq and outhouse with a composting toielt. Sleep or (literally) hang under the starts in a nakie hammock. You’ll be navigating your way through 96acres of extra wide trails (and some cool new singletracks) surrounding a massive pond (that exists thanks to some clever, hardworking beavers). Sylvie has a great set up! Lovely camp site and surrounded by a great trail system. Pristine wildlands were a joy to explore. The canvas tent was extremely clean and the woodstove helped keep us warm over the chilly night!

A beautifully cared for and decorated location for a night with friends, or book all three tents for a fun group getaway. Very secluded and peaceful but a short enough walk to the car that you can bring whatever you like! Not a difficult walk, well-maintained trail. My dog loved it!

Forest Bell Tent #3

Our family really enjoyed this camping site! What made this stay so special was having Sylvie, our host, be so welcoming and warm. She was always available and ready to help. She even made her own batch of mosquito ointment for us and gave us fresh eggs from their very own chicken coop. The tents were beautifully made and we enjoyed cozying up at night with all the fairy lights surrounding us. A high recommend!

We loved camping at Sylvie’s- she was easy to get ahold of, the photos perfectly represented the camp sites and it was the best place to connect with nature. Pack bug spray and know some phones may not get reception here! The twinkly lights and remote control lights were a great touch to a magical stay.
