Nice little campground in a holler. The only problem is there’s no tent spots by the stream, only rv spots. Would come back and get an RV spot.

Loved our stay at Trout creek! Listening to the water splash over the rocks was so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. The bath house was sparkling clean and tidy. The staff were so very helpful! I can’t say enough about how great this experience was for us newbie RV’ers. Of course, the other campers were also amazing, kind and so very supportive. Thank you Trout Creek!!!

Trout Creek Tent Campgrounds
Our family loved this campground. It was clean and well kept. We were able to upgrade and moved to a spot right by the creek. It was so peaceful. They bring firewood to your site which is super nice and convenient. The ONLY recommendation I would give would be to make the men's and women's bathrooms separate bathhouses.
We will definitely come back soon.

Overall we had a great experience. The campsites are super close together. Literally almost on top of each other. If privacy while camping is your thing not the place for you. If a more community camping experience is what you are looking for then definitely worth a weekend visit. The owners are super nice and property is pretty and kept up well. There are other hipcamps that offer more secluded areas for a similar price.

Our first trip out this year… Trout Creek Campground did not disappoint! The campground is beautiful and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Very peaceful! A great place to unplug and relax!!

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It just wasn’t the camping experience we expected. I would suggest updating the photos and description so that it’s clear this is a very busy campground for families (we thought it was just a family-owned campsite, not a campground for families). It was like being in a busy parking lot next to a playground.

Not remote, not secluded. Lots of campsites on top of each other. We drove past our campsite and left immediately. If you’re a seasoned camper, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a good spot to park your SxS at the thunder dome, this is a great spot.

Trout Creek Campground Car Camping
We had a great time tent camping with our two kiddos! There’s so much to do just around the campground. Tons of shade, nice cool creek, a couple ponds that the kids would catch tadpoles and a green area with a playground. The owners take pride in this place and you can tell. Very clean bathrooms and free showers. I never saw any trash anywhere on the grounds. We’ll definitely be returning!

Loved the isolation and quite. The sound of the stream running next to our camp site helped lull us to sleep at night. Very friendly people running the camp. Was easy enough to find as the directions were good. All in all my wife and I enjoyed our time there.

Very nice campground. The onsite host even helped me park. Very kid friendly with playground equipment. Only negatives we experienced were no cell coverage or WiFI. We'll be back.

The campgrounds were well maintained and the staff were very nice. Would 100% recommend staying here. The only issue during our stay was the amount of unsupervised kids running amuck. Other than that we plan on visiting again!

Spots mostly flat, bathrooms are well kept, and creekside camping was perfect!
We stayed 2 nights earlier in the week, it wasn't over crowded. Sites are smallish and close together so I think busy times would be a different story. It was quite and relaxing at the time we were there.

Trout Creek Tent Campgrounds
This is a very rural campground, it’s beautiful right on trout creek, and was quite busy considering. The sites are narrow and snug. It’s farther away from GSMNP than we thought and there’s no reception available. So check your maps and directions for trailheads before coming to the campground. When we arrived, the host was great in helping us check in since we arrived after dark. Please be advised, this listing is particular to tent camping. I thought it was for a 50amp RV site- we were lucky they had what we needed available and on the creek. But be advised to confirm what kind of site you are booking.

Beautiful spot but be prepared to pay extra for creekside, 10 bucks per night. Wi-Fi is spotty and we did not have phone service, but all in all, a beautiful spot!

Trout Creek Tent Campgrounds
Trout Creek Campground is so lovely! Friendly people, clean amenities, and a beautiful location. The sites are not very private if that's your thing, but we really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors. The campground is super close to pretty much everything including Cashiers, Lake Glenville, and Nantahala, which made finding adventures easy. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Awesome Place...4 1/2 stars...
First time at this Campground and it was Amazing. The staff is super nice, The place is clean. Tony was out talking to and helping other campers and he even brought us a bundle of fire wood. We backed right up to the stream and enjoyed our overnight visit...

I was only able to stay one night but this place is awesome!!! The staff was very friendly and it was peaceful and quiet. It's off the beaten path but it was perfect!!!! I had a good night's sleep and my little dog Beau thoroughly enjoyed sitting with me by our peaceful crackling campfire. We will definitely come back!!! Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful campsite! Love that it’s close to the creek. Bathrooms and showers were kept clean. Campsite is also about 15 mins away from town if you’re wanting to check it out. Will come back for sure!
