Located In upstate New York is this hidden gem. This camper was old school, now turned new. With a full renovation to give it a Scandinavian look in the front, and a cozy cabin feel in the bedroom. This will give you a unique experience different from the normal camper your used to! Also at your campsite there is a firepit, garden hose,(not available during the winter)and a 8x8 hammock perfect to stargaze in! We are now offering kindling firewood with fire starter and matches. Feel free to reserve your own firewood. $10 *PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING* I want to be transparent with you guys on the property and size of the camper! -The camper is very small only 21ft. The average height clearance is 6'2" so if you are tall this may not be for you. (I'm 5'9" and its comfortable for me) -If you are a bigger person this may feel too tight for you especially in the bathroom area -The bed is a full size some couples may feel that this is to small for them. -A hot shower will last about 15 minutes once it is heated up. -In the summertime there is bugs some may get into the camper. We do treat the area with safe bug spray but it may not fully prevent them. -There are two other tiny houses and a main house on the property. They are far apart but the main house is close. We have a privacy fence that fully blocks the house. So you are still very private but you are not fully secluded. -In case of fire There is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector inside the camper. The bedroom door is only to be used as an emergency fire exit. (Door is locked from the outside but unlocked from the inside) There is also a water cannon outside for outdoor fires. Please be responsible with all fires! -If you want to cancel you must cancel within 24 hours of booking then I will issue a full refund. Any time after that its a strict policy and no refund will be issued. Thank you for reading this I want to make sure everyone is aware and knows what to expect. On leash. There is not an option to add a pet fee. My cleaners charge me extra due to pet hair. We need to clean it very well so the next guest dose not have pet hair. If you could leave a tip for pets that would be greatly appreciated and they would charge me extra. I still want people to bring their pets and have a good time!

I loved this spot clean and very cute for a little get away with the hubs we enjoyed the downtown during the day as well, it did rain a bit so I wish they had the tent cover on the pop up tent that was over the table vs just the metal part of it so we could of enjoyed still being outside but still enjoyed 😊

My only complaint is that I didn’t stay another night! Easy directions to find the site even in the dark, super cute cozy camper, very clean, well-stocked, overall the perfect HipCamp experience. Planning to come back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this Catskills camper! The space was perfect for our little weekend away and we absolutely loved the hammock. It’s perfectly located between multiple towns so you have a lot to explore! John was an excellent host who answered our questions right away and even came down ASAP to help when we realized the trailer was out of propane. I would totally recommend this place for couples looking for a romantic glamping getaway close to the city.

Horrible experience

Worst place I have ever went to. Would never ever come here again. The room is super tiny, so is the shower. I couldn’t even stand in the shower. As soon as you opened the water it stinks, I couldn’t even shower or wash my hands. I had to use my own bottled water. Horrible experience I will never come again.

Happy Campers!

John is an amazing host! He is very attentive and responsive! This was my first time camping and stepping into an RV. My husband loves camping and anything outdoors, so I decided to take him camping for his birthday. The campsite was peaceful and the ambiance was pleasant. This has definitely changed my perspective on camping, and I can’t wait to camp again! The RV was so cute and modern and it was stocked with your daily essentials.

Great place to stay with the little luxuries of home. Has everything you need to be comfortable. Was here with 2 adults and 2 small dogs with plenty of space and plenty of dog friendly things to do.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My kids and I + dog had amazing time at John’s Catskill and chill camp! John’s camper was well stocked with everything you need while staying at the campsite. The hammock is a 1A I drunk my coffee in there every morning while relaxing watching the wildlife / stars at night. We will most definitely coming back asap. John told me about this amazing swimming hole 3 min away from the campsite (Catskills mill pond) where my kids and I enjoyed staying for most of the day. I also got to meet the owner of this property yall are amazing and down to earth I love it ! Thank you for this amazing hospitality we hope to see you soon 🏔️🗺️ ⛺️

I had a great stay at John's camper. The location offered just the right amount of seclusion—private but not isolated—making it feel both safe and peaceful. Perfect getaway!

I'll Be Back Soon!

I needed a breather from the city and John's campsite was perfect! The camper is efficient, well maintained, extremely functional (zero issues with the kitchen, shower, or toilet), well stocked, organized, and the campsite is clean. The AC in the camper kept it cool on a sweltering day and the local watering hole is amazing! Just be careful when walking in the water as the bottom is very slippery and bring towels for swimming. I forgot how quiet and dark the nighttime can be. The bed is surprisingly comfortable and has great lower back support (I have lower back injury so this is important to me). I slept like a baby every night. Besides swimming, the camper has cable/tv/streaming, different types of card/trivia games, there's a mini outdoor oven (best for night time chats, ,not for cooking), relaxing hammock that I napped on, and the local township is charming and has a small variety of cuisine. We stuck with a modern American menu and had a fantastic dinner. The weekend flew by and I can't wait to go back! A big thank you to our host, John, who is extremely accommodating, helpful, and went above and beyond to stay in touch with us. I hope you'll have us out again soon.

Great place to relax with the dogs

Had a great time at John’s spot. The camper was very clean and well outfitted. The campsite outside was a great place to relax. It was close to the main house but still felt completely private and quiet. Good space for the dogs to hang out. Loved the wood stove. The canopy kept us dry during occasional drizzles. John was super responsive and helpful when I had questions. Overall a good time and a good value. We’ll be back again soon.

Do it!

I loved my experience in John's RV. He was communicative, kind and helpful. I was able to relax in nature and have the comfort of a TV at night. All the basic requirements were there and it was easy to get to. I would definitely recommend 10/10. The only think to note is I'm plus size and it was a little squeeze in the bathroom. Not a complaint at all, just note. It was a refreshing experience

We had a super restorative weekend at the Catskill and Chill! The setting is perfect, the inside of the camper is well-designed and thoughtful, and the hammock outside is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy some nature.

This little camper was a great place to stay to enjoy a little time away from home. It has all the comfort amenities of home in a cozy secluded area from everyone else. If you’re taller than average height the camper might be a bit short to stand in. There’s also an awesome creek nearby that’s great for the warmer days.
