Once the largest organic vineyard in New Mexico, Bomvida Farms began in 2020 in what used to be called Sabinal Vineyards. The land has been vacant for over a decade and most of the grapes are dead...buta few are still hanging on. We'll do what we can you save them. Other than that we have hundreds of animals including pigs, goats, chickens, and turkeys. In 2021 we have a long list of fruits & vegetables that will be grown where the grapes used to live. Come enjoy all we have to offer while taking in our fantastic views. Learn more about this land: Bomvida is a working farm started summer 2020. For decades this land was part of the largest vineyard in NM until it was abandoned. Come listen to the coyotes howl and the roosters crow as you enjoy EXPANSIVE views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Manzano Mountains. Take a tour of the farm, pet some animals, see what we grow/make in our commercial kitchen, or visit our neighbor (a proper vineyard with a tasting room). Each reservation includes:* - 1 Dozen Farm Fresh Eggs - 1 Quart Farm Fresh Goat's milk (tastes just like cows milk from the store) - 1 Quart Bitchy Betty's Extra Tangy Yogurt Being almost an hour south of Albuquerque it's dark enough on a moonless night to truly enjoy the stars! We have 1 site currently available. Saltbrush (Site 1 on the map) is closer to the animals and Arroyo Vista (Site 2; not yet completed) is on the other side of the arroyo further away from our operations.Bomvida is a working farm started summer 2020. Saltbrush Site
Private, but bring good earplugs
Overall had a nice experience, but I’m not sure I’d choose to go back. Site was very private, but not particularly maintained and absolutely covered in goatheads/stickers/spiny things — seriously, plan your shoes accordingly and do not get fabric items anywhere near the ground. Also, not clear from photos is that I25 is only maybe 100yards from the campsite, so be prepared for interstate noise and headlights all night, not just sweeping views. Final critique is that while the listing states that booking cost includes farm fresh milk & eggs, none were provided, and my farm tour didn’t transpire either. My goal for this trip was to take my first solo camping trip somewhere that felt safe and private, which this site fully accomplished, but I felt compelled to share this review because I did have slightly higher expectations based on the hipcamp listing.

Saltbrush Site
The site is probably 200 yards from I-25 interstate, so if you’re in a tent, you’re hearing loud trucks/cars (and train) throughout the night. I got used to it, but not after tossing and turning. Prior to this, I’ve been staying in a very quiet off-grid area, so consider that. I did not stay there my whole reservation.

Farm tour was awesome
Camping on Bom Vida farm was wonderful and the hosts were friendly and kind. We really enjoyed the farm tour and the yogurt and eggs were great! I slept well with earplugs to mute the traffic noise. We will visit again!
