Exactly as advertised! I was doing a road trip and mostly car camping, and this was a great spot for a cooled indoor space on a hot night. Easy check-in, comfy bed, friendly host!
Cool New Mexico style home under renovation. The appliances work well - toilet, refrigerator, etc. But no shower (as stated in the listing). The swamp cooler was not working when we were there, but even during the summer heat it really didn’t get very hot in the house itself. We were happy with our stay!
This place is exactly what I needed. Convenient, spacious, clean, simple. Do I need to say anymore.
Yes the bathroom needed some work and yes there wasn't laundry services or showers but let's be honest. You didn't pay for them. This place was an absolute steal. I loved staying here and highly recommend it.

Tara is responsive, down-to-earth, & easy-going. Description of her “campsite” is accurate. “Indoor Camping” is very fitting, and it was a neat experience that we’d recommend. Most things are under construction, so it’s still rustic and gritty, in a unique way. If your expectations are set accordingly, this place is a great 1-2 night stay. Thanks, Tara!
My husband and I stayed at Tara's place for 1 night while visiting ABQ. The house was easy to find and she made checking in simple. The neighbor is safe and quiet, which we really appreciated.
The living room / bedroom area is very cute and comfortable. Tara supplies a floor fan and several extra blankets. The kitchen and bathroom are pretty rough though, which I expected from when I initially booked, but it was still a little spooky. Kinda feels like you're in an old cabin in the woods even though you're in the middle of ABQ lol
For the price, you definitely can't beat having a comfy bed for a night at Tara's place :)

It is an indoor camping experience. Has a bed, seating area, kitchen table, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, kitchen sink and toilet with working water. Im sure im forgetting something. A great place to sleep. Tara is very kind and welcoming. Would stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at Tara’s “camp” spot. It’s a beautiful home with everything you need, minus a shower. Huge sink in the kitchen with HOT water sufficed for one night. 😉
The bed was super comfortable and I slept like a baby! Bonus!!~ while using the potty early in the morning (yes, there is a toilet!) I was thrilled to see a llama in the backyard!
Tara was very responsive, friendly and made me feel very welcome.
I would definitely stay again, thank you Tara!!
Tara was a delight to work with. Definitely recommended for urban camping and the reassurance and security that goes with lodging indoors. Would stay there again.

Tara made sure we knew every important detail about the space to enjoy our stay to the fullest—and that we did!
It was amazing! I loved the stay. The beds are very clean everything its well in organized along with a beautiful classic layout. The outside view is sooo beautiful during the sun rise and dawn. I really enjoyed it and me and my friend where so happy! And the bed is a very good size for two people to! And its soft. Toilets are clean and work well just like any home or public place

Perfect stay for one or two nights! Tara is responsive in communication and was very welcoming upon my arrival. Nice quiet location on a dead end street, Clean, inviting and spacious room with a very comfy bed. I definitely hope to return next time I’m in ABQ.

This was the perfect spot for my quick trip to Albuquerque. Tara was great with communication and the space was super cozy. Everything you might need for a good night's rest or more if you're needing a warm, safe, comfortable place to hang. The location is perfect for whatever your adventure brings, easy access to key spots on the city and beyond. Tara kindly provided bedding and the house has all the things you might need (minus a shower as she thoughtfully advertised). A great alternative to a vacation rental and better than camping (no gear required). Such a great offering!

Tara has done a wonderful job at creating a nice clean space in her home that she is renovating. I loved it so much! I highly recommend her as a host. It's in a quiet neighborhood and easy to find. I will def stay here again if it is available in the future.

Tara is a gracious host and I love staying at her place at the end of a dead end road. It was way more than indoor camping and the best deal in Albuquerque in my opinion. There is a microwave, small fridge, small coffee pot, toast oven and temperature controlled space. Tara is an interesting person too!
Tara's place was more than I had hoped for for a place to sleep during the balloon festival and adventures around Albuquerque. It's in a quiet neighborhood and near old town. She provided a comfy bed, extra bedding, dining table and chairs, microwave, toaster oven, small fridge, kitchen sink and toilet. If you have extra people she'll also provide an extra mattress. Remember to bring mosquito repellent, as there are many mosquitos in the area.

Tara's home was a welcoming space, just as she described. She even checked with me before accepting my booking to see if I would feel comfortable.
She's put some thoughtful touches into making the home inviting and cozy. It is rustic and under renovation. Very cute and bikeable area of Albuquerque not far from the river.

Tara's place was great. Very clean and good vibes. Such a great idea to use the space whilst renovating. I stayed with my two toddlers and they loved it. We were going to camp in a field in town but we had to move quick and saved the effort of our camping gear.
Location is super central, close to downtown, old town and baloon fiesta park.
The area was very quiet and peaceful too.
