Great location on Castine peninsula. We arrived during mid season so the designated sites were closed, but the host allowed us to stay next to their barn. Quiet and pleasant. Awesome sunsets at Wadsworth Cove nearby.

This was a perfect location for visiting Castine and the nearby beach. The property provided plenty of privacy with level parking . Jane greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved camping at Jane's property! The site was well-maintained and private, and had a prefect location being tucked amongst a forested area while also a short drive to the Castine harbor. Would recommend!

Site 1 - Sublime Coastal Respite
This was the 2nd time I stayed at Sublime Costal Respite, Maine. I enjoyed the first stay I came back this year with my daughter, and two grandsons. The camp site was well layed out and had all you would expect. Jane and husband were very friendly hosts giving ideas of all the events along with what the local area had to offer. We enjoyed the areas views and attractions like: a beech, hot salt water pound, swimimg, sun sets that are made for paintings, small Maine town on the ocean, Revalutionary history sites, harbor, great seafood, hiking, just to name a few. My family will always have found memories of being able to experince a slice of what Castine has to offer for decades. I will not only be back next year, but many years to come. I have stayed at many Hipcamp and this camp site is my #1 place to stay.

Jane's land was a great, quiet spot for a few low key days in Maine. We enjoyed the proximity to the small local beach. Jane is very friendly and helpful with recommendations and communication.

Pat and Jane were super hosts. Upon arrival, Jane greeted us and provided details about the site. Jane then sent her partner to to visit us and share a few stories about the area and unique things to do. The next day we followed their suggestions and were delighted with our experiences. A visit to Stonnington for lobster rolls as well as Nellie's Jellies. We had a blast. Thank you Jane and Pat.

My family and I needed a comfortable place to stay whilst passing through on our way to Acadia. Everything about our stay here in Castine was absolutely wonderful. The campsite was private and spacious for my family of four and our two tents. We enjoyed the sunset at the local beach down the road and breakfast at the harbor. We would love to come back in the future and do it again. Highly recommend.

They were very helpful getting the trailer situated. Nice secluded area. Fort Knox and Bridge observatory were only 1/2 hr away fun way to spend the day.

We loved camping on Jane’s land - just drive in and park! We were there in the rain so we were in our van the entire stay but it was so nice having a safe spot to park for the night!

We had an amazing experience, the site was so peaceful and every evening we watched the sunset and then gazing in awe as the stars came out. I would definetly stay with Jane again.

Not only will you find peace and quiet in close proximity to the delightful little town of Castine, but you will find yourself in the presence of saints. I later found out from locals that Pat Irving is known to know how to fix most everything and does so despite being retired. He most graciously under took repairing a potentially dangerous situation with my little camper and had both Skill and tools. He sent me off with a much safer rig and I am sure saved me from a catastrophe. I feel very blessed and I am sure you will also be blessed if you choose to stay with Jane and Pat.

Pat and Jane at Sublime went over and beyond when our camper broke a spring shackle. They got us out of Rv Nightmare. Cant say how lucky and thankful we are that we chose Sublime for our stopover.

Jane and Pat have 2 great sites to camp on. They’ve carved out 2 separate sites on grass, with trees all around. The lightening bugs put on a great show. The hosts Jane and Pat are 2 of the nicest people you’d ever hope to meet. I had an accident with my awning and was duck taping it to the side of my RV. I wasn’t even parked when Pat offered to help me secure it better. Now I don’t have to worry about it and can deal with it when I have the time.
Castine Maine is just down the road. It is a really cute old town with LOTS of history. And Acadia National Park is under an hour away.
Thank you Jane and Pat, I would definitely stay again.
