Cindy’s camping site is quite isolated with absolutely no cellphone service. I wanted to go completely off the grid so it was perfect for me. I didn’t even use the Wi-Fi available. The site itself is well maintained and very quiet. Occasionally you could hear a dog or two barking in the distance. There are a couple houses you can see about 200-300 yards away. It still felt very private otherwise. The outhouse in my opinion isn’t really usable. Just bring a camping toilet instead. Lots of dead branches around to get a fire started. I did bring my own wood with me. I really like the earlier check in time which is a big plus for me. Overall I was really happy with this site and would recommend it to anyone needing to get off the grid for a bit!
Directions to the site were perfect, just download the map/directions prior to leaving.

Peace and Quiet Camping 🏕️

Cindy has a great spot away from the loud busy cities. Nice country drive down quaint little country roads. Our dually squeezed through those tight curves and we were glad we left the trailer at home because we would have missed out on this golden opportunity. During a sporadic rain storm, Cindy came to check in on us, and even though it rained, we enjoyed our time. This was REAL camping, no cell service, no loud neighbors, just peace and quiet, listening to the birds and watching the bunnies play in the field.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly and then allowed me privacy. The site was mostly private (could see a couple houses 100 yards away) and mostly level and well mowed. The site is a simple quiet relatively safe feeling but be ready to rough it as there are snakes around and the outhouse is SOS only!

What a great place to pitch a tent and hang out. Off the beaten path but close to many outdoor activities. Wonderful host and property. Would love to go back when I can stay longer.

I enjoyed camping on Cindy’s land. It was easy to get to and was a nice place to set up a tent to enjoy some time by the campfire. There are lots of activities close by. I had planned to do some night photography but the clouds spoiled my plans.
Most the camp grounds are closed for the season so it was good that Cindy had availability.

Amazing Campsite and People!

My stay at close to climbing red River gorge has been by far the most pleasant I’ve experienced from hipcamp. The people here were some of the kindest I’ve met and the campsite was absolutely everything I was looking for. With amazing views and such awesome people I’d rate this place with utmost certainty a 10/10. Perfect for any get-away, retreat, or mini vacation. If you enjoy the outdoors as much as me, you will love this campsite.

Easy to find but make sure to screen shot and download. Wi-Fi is easy to access. We loved our site and our dog had room. Good location. We visited nada springs, devils market house and auxier ridge.
The owners, we met Craig. Amazing. He took us to see a beautiful lookout view I felt was very specific to our trip and just the activity we love. He recommend a nice pit stop, Broke leg falls. 10/10 will return and recommend!

Great host, no RVs, new campsites

Overall we had a great experience and Cindy was an excellent host and very accommodating. The site had benches but didn’t have a picnic table so she brought us a camping table, provided firewood, filled our water jugs, and a citronella candle. The location was pretty good and there’s hiking up on the property. The campsites are pretty new so there’s still some developing to be done and the two most shady locations were taken so we had spots along the edge of the woods and creek.

Cindy’s land was fantastic! Very quiet and very open for some great stargazing - and close enough to everything in RRG to make for a wonderful weekend away. Cindy even brought us some bug spray and citronella candles for the night, and then offered to bring us some farm fresh eggs for breakfast. She was great! We will definitely be back!

Cindy was an excellent host. She has a beautiful property that is not far from all the adventures held in Red River Gorge. I surprised her and showed up with my RV but she was very helpful and had a spot for me. Getting in is too tight for an RV so I don't suggest unless you have cleared with the host and know the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Cindy was super sweet and available if needed. There were other campers too, but the sites were far enough apart we barely heard them. It was a little tricky to find, but we found it ok! It was perfect for what we were looking for!

Camping in the woods!
Staying on Cindy's land was a breeze! Felt welcomed and cared for even though we got in late. Would definitely stop by again if I was going through. Hopefully next time I'll have the chance to hike a bit too!

Well... I went back again! Cindy is so sweet- I didn't meet her in person yet, but I want to go back when I have a bit more time so I can meet her and hike the nearby trails! She left dry (and covered) firewood next to the firepit- both big and small pieces. There was another person at the other site, but like last time, the sites are far enough apart that you don't notice anyone else!
I highly recommend this spot!

Quiet, in the country
I just needed a quick spot to camp with a late arrival and early departure, but I wish I could have stayed for several days! It was beautiful even in the dark.
Cindy was very responsive and gave very clear directions on how to get there. I did not have cell phone service (ATT), but all turns were clearly marked. There was one other guest at one of the two sites, but they're far enough apart that one will not bother the other.
I would absolutely love to stay here again!

Cindy's spot was great for my wife and I passing through the area for a night. She gave us great directions over text to find the location and once we arrived there was plenty of space for our car and tent and a nice fire ring and trash can set up for us to use.

Cindy was very accommodating and was a great host. There was enough space and privacy for us to do our own thing and have fun. She set us up a fire pit and fire wood, gave us water and my friends and I had a wonderful time staying here!
