Me and my son enjoyed our stay by the pond. At night we could easily see the path and the pond as they were lit by lights .
We saw many frogs and the two small gators that inhabited the pond -
We will probably go back in the years to come -

This property was secluded and beautiful with so many mossy trees and even a small creek with the tiniest baby alligator. Hey Wally! They warned us ahead of time about the deer and horseflies but we came prepared with ALL the sprays and they weren't nearly as bad as the spot we were at before. Tons of firewood was provided for $10/day and each spot had solar lights and citronella candles. You can tell they try to go the extra mile to make their guests comfortable.

Great location--easy access from 95. Sites were as described, host was very friendly. Bring your bug spray, but we would definitely stay here again.

We camp and hike extensively so we are fully aware that bugs are a part of nature. But we were so swarmed with deer flies we couldn’t even get out of the truck. That’s no one’s fault but we left a message to the host and they never responded. We did not ask for a refund but to acknowledge would be nice. That just felt like once they got our money they did not care about the experience

April and her husband are such very nice hospitable people and their farm is just breathtaking along with the views of the marshes and the pond! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property!!! Easy to find, cleared out space with plenty of trees for hammocks. Our neighbors camping next to us were very friendly and we wish we could stay longer! Picnic benches and a fire pit at the site. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Easy to find and plenty of space to set-up. I especially appreciated the lanterns and twinkly lights left at each site's picnic table! The only downside I'd say is that there is only one 1 portable toilet available for multiple campsites and it can get pretty smelly throughout the day.

Beautiful and secluded, close to i-95. We've stayed here twice and have enjoyed it both times. In our future travels going up to East Coast this may be a place we will stop often.

My wife and I enjoyed a night of car camping on the property. We stayed on the other side of the lagoon from the entrance which was a little more secluded and has more privacy. Their dogs were super friendly and will definitely run up to you to say Hi. It was quiet and there is plenty of fire wood around to keep it going through the night.

Great access from the interstate easy in and out of the property and very fair pricing. We hammock camped and there were ample trees to tie up to. If you want to build a fire the firewood is stored at each site and the tables and grills are right there too. We enjoyed the stay and would do it again. Only thing you should know is the sites are close together so if the camp is full be prepared to have other campers nearby. But again, they aren’t charging a lot for it.

We absolutely loved camping on this spot... Very accessible to Savannah and the beach, but far enough away to have a little escape from all the noise. The hosts were really kind and helpful, the spot had a fire pit and there waas a option to buy wood if needed... Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property. Large oaks with Spanish moss turn back time on the way in and set the mood for relaxation. Each site is cleared and has a picnic table and fire ring. Roads/paths are well maintained and easy to walk. Remember your bug spray as it’s Georgia low country marsh!

Lovely space, well divided for several campers. Picnic tables, barbeques and firepits for each space. Wood for sale.
Peaceful area. Great location for our visit to Savannah! Only 40 minutes to the city center! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This campground is an absolute gem! The property is stunning, with plenty of natural beauty to take in. The lagoon was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. What truly sets this place apart, though, are the hosts. Steve and April are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests’ experience. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a primitive, secluded, relaxing getaway, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Clearing in the woods was a great spot for a peaceful hideaway for two nights. Ample room between camping areas and the use of fire ring, split wood and picnic tables was really wonderful. April was very accommodating and we enjoyed our time.

This Hipcamp location is well maintained, with nice hosts.The winter drop of tree leaves makes for less privacy though not too much. The lagoon site isn't very shaded with no leaves and a heat wave pushing up from the south. The price is reasonable considering what you would pay at the State Park.
I always love the scenic salt marshes of the state of Georgia which are very close to the camp. Not very buggy this time of year, February. If vegan food interests you there is a Fudruckers at the TA truck stop on hwy 17 going towards Savannah that offers a plant based burger with an array of condiments, kind of pricey though a splurge that's I believe is worth it. I know there is more history to the land though I didn't get a chance to discuss with the hosts.
