Eagles Nest
Not good if your on a motorcycle
It was a nice spot other than being on a motorcycle having to stop and get off to open and close gates to get to the camp site was kind of a pain. The other thing is there were nice chairs at the site but unusable as they were covered in bird crap.

Magpie Tipi
Well, I think this place has a lot of potential. It’s in a beautiful spot and has some good infrastructure, but there were a lot of details that weren’t so great. First, the directions sent me to the wrong tipi, and that tipi was really dirty when I arrived. I checked the other one to see if I was at the wrong one, but it looked like it was being used by someone else (bed covers were all ruffled). The host responded very quickly and offered that I could stay in the very clean cabin, but I didn’t want to be in a building so I just swept the tipi and it was fine. There’s a nice composting toilet, but it was dirty when I arrived (host cleaned it the next morning), and the door doesn’t latch. There is also a nice shower station, but only one shower bag for 3 nights (not 4 like in the picture). A nice kitchen setup, but bring a lighter/matches if you want to use the stove. As it was, it did not feel worth $50/night. It just didn’t feel like this campsite was anyone’s priority, at least for my stay, and when I shared my feedback, the host apologized and told me about all the positive feedback from other guests. I think with a bit more attention, and some signs around the space, this place could be really awesome. Until then, maybe it’s fine for a night, or the hostel in town is amazing and for just a few dollars more if you get a single room….at least the bed in the tipi was very comfortable.

Beautiful tent
Girls night out
I love the tent camping, it was nice. We had a great time. One thing I’d like to recommend is to put signage to the tents hehe. But all in all it was a nice experience especially for those whose first time doing it

Comets Landing
Overall it was a quiet and beautiful property, I enjoyed my time on it and being so close to the horses! I was a little disappointed that the lock on the door to Comet’s Landing, the shower and compost toilet all didn’t work or close fully. Otherwise the cabin was clean and all other amenities were as pictured.

Magpie Tipi
The experience of sleeping in a tipi was fun. The stars were phenomenal! It’s been years since I’ve been in a dark enough environment to see the Milky Way. Don’t forget to order bedding in advance if you want it, and when you come in there will be a gate you need to open and chain closed behind you.

Beautiful tent
The beautiful tent is just that...beautiful. The beds were very comfortable too. Loved the location. Seems like a lot of attention was put into creating this camp. The outhouses and shower stalls are great but perhaps not as well maintained as they might be for the "perfect" stay. Thank you, we had a fantastic time!!
