Loved!
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. Will be staying there again soon hopefully. Loved the privacy, a few vehicles coming and going but not too much traffic. Place is visible from the road but all in all, was exactly what we were looking for in seclusion. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed the whole weekend. The only downfall was not being able to shower at night but, it is camping after all. They provided wood for the fire pit and propane. Would highly recommend this place to couples or the whole family! Plenty of land to pitch tents aside from the small cabin. Tiffany, great job on that place. Everything was well thought about. Thanks for allowing us to stay there. Will be back soon!!

Very quaint little cabin! Communication was great. She immediately replaced the propane because it was a very cold night. I would recommend this place to regroup and recharge. Definitely will be going back.

I will always have memories of my family and I gathered around the fire, laughing with full bellies, talking with the full moon hanging over us at nite. We sunbathed, talked, cooked and fished too. Thank you!

Perfect upscale camping experience!
I stayed from April 19-24 and loved it! Weather was perfect. Not too buggy this time of year. Note: 4th Saturday of April - annual Strawberry Festival in Reynolds, GA nearby. ;)
The nature sounds were my favorite… fish flapping, birds chirping, frogs, etc. The owner thought of all the little details, even down to a small portable speaker to play music. Went fishing for the first time since I was a little girl. Locals were friendly. The pace is slow, and the environment is calm, relaxing and still. Cute interior in the cabin. Dock was great! Providing firewood was definitely a nice addition. Thank you for that!
Things to note:
I did not use their shower. I brought my own off-grid Joolca kit and a 5-gallon bucket to put water in from their foot-pump sink to ensure I had consistent hot water for showering and dish washing since I knew hot water was going to be weather dependent. While water was totally fine for those things, I didn’t drink but a few sips and then decided to go into town to get jugged water. It didn’t have a good taste to me. While by a dirt road, there wasn’t a lot of traffic. But do be aware that there is some visibility of the cabin from the road. No trash bags, cooking seasonings/oil, or paper towels provided. Bed is a little stiff and noisy from the mattress cover, but I adjusted quickly. Cookware provided; they are exposed to the elements in outdoor kitchen, but that was fine for me. Spoons provided-no forks or knives.

Idyllic space
Tiffany’s space was perfect! It was equipped with basic camping tools and they communicated very efficiently. If you’re looking for a mini-peaceful getaway, I would definitely recommend this little cabin!

Great camping trip
It’s a beautiful and wonderful place to stay at if you like camping out and being able to sit around in a campfire and tell stories or making some s’mores . Burgers came out delicious and also there is a cute picnic table and candles you can put around for when it starts getting dark . Overall it was a really nice time to disconnect and reconnect with nature and your friends or whoever you bring . Also connecting with god !

We needed this escape from city life. The property is private with an awesome view of the water. Even through it rained most of the time we were there the road tp the sote held up just fine. Book this if you want to disconnect from the world and enjoy nature.

Perfect for Couples
Tiffany patiently answered all the questions from this city slicker Covid escapee. It was out first trip in 15 months and there’s nowhere better to celebrate being vaccinated. Peaceful view of a lake teeming with life, and everything you need on hand. Just be sure to avoid GA 85 in the first weekend of May and Oct bc was dreadful.

I was very skeptical about camping, because I’ve never been the outdoors type. My daughter wanted to go for her birthday, so we came here as a meet in the middle type thing. It was a very serene getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

All the best parts of camping
We had such a great anniversary weekend at the cabin. My boyfriend broke his leg a couple of months ago so we're not able to do all the things we usually enjoy - hiking, backpacking, etc. This was a great way to get outdoors without all the setup and work that usually goes into backcountry camping trips. But it still scratched out itch to get out camping.
The scenery was beautiful. Host communication was great. And the set up was perfect with everything we needed for cooking in the awesome outdoor kitchen area.
We were sad that we didn't get to see any Armadillos or Alligators but the weather was a little colder than usual during our stay.

My husband and I had a really good time. This was the first time for me to go camping off-grid and found it to be very relaxing. I did a lot of reading while my husband did a lot of cooking by the fire. The cabin was very cozy and you could tell a lot of thought and love was put into the entire camp. We loved it and will definitely do it again!

You should stay here!
Amazing stay! The whole site is just amazing. I love the cabin, the porch, the little outdoor cooking/work area. Everything! The bathroom is clean and simple. Well water is always a plus. The lake is beautiful from the cabin and the stars are so nice. I will be back one day!

This place was perfect! It was a wonderful blend of camping and creature comforts. The lake was stunning...covered with water lilies that bloomed every morning, and so still that you can see the stars reflected in it at night.
The cabin was cozy and cute and easy to keep a comfortable temperature with the battery operated fan provided. The shower was great...as long as you use it in the middle of the day. If you’re looking for a quiet place to just rest and recharge, this place is pretty much perfect.

Just a Fantastic Stay
It was my first time using hipcamp, and I could not have been more impressed with the host and the site itself. An amazing place to camp out while still having a bed and some solid shelter. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a secluded stay.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it had everything we loved! The sandy beach area, cute cabin, and dock for fishing (although we only caught two small fish and two turtles the whole time). We will definitely be going back!

Great anniversary trip
We spent one night to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the one bedroom cabin, especially since there was a thunderstorm that evening. It was so nice to not worry about being in a tent. The little beach is cute and we enjoyed sitting down there to read. One review mentioned having drinking water provided, which we did not, but we brought plenty of our own, so we were good. For others to note in traveling, we followed the host's directions, which I'm sure was a good thing. However, we still got stuck. We were in a small hatchback only anticipating "dirt" roads. There is a very sandy patch of road in which we got stuck. As mentioned in other reviews, the bugs are bad so come prepared. I was very appreciative of the battery operated fan in the cabin as I'm a fan sleeper and it was a little warm. The host does a great job of keeping it well maintained. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Best Getaway Ever
My boyfriend and I recently went to this location for a well-deserved relaxing weekend. And that is exactly what this was. The place is super cute and very clean. The gnats can be a little crazy, but the host provides a insect repellant bag thingy that helps with the mosquitoes. So you don't get eaten up by anything just have gnats there constantly. But of course, I still recommend you bring bug spray for the just in case. Alrogether, this trip was amazing and we definetly plan on coming back in the future.
P.s. don't forget sunscreen

A Cozy Nest in the Woods
We had an amazing time getting away at The Hollow! The host is great and definitely accommodating when we needed anything. The area is beautiful and the wildlife is honestly my favorite part. I got to see owls, herons, turtles, bats, and more birds than you could imagine. We had a wonderful weekend relaxing, reading, studying, cooking over an open fire, and taking in the surroundings. If you need a getaway to escape daily life, THIS IS IT.
A few precautions - the bugs are insane so be prepared! Even though it's a cabin, it's in the woods so be prepared for some nightly visitors. The hosts were fortunately prepared for this as a bucket of wasp, roach, and other sprays were available at the site. The shower is especially nice if you want to get away for a longer time and still enjoy being clean. Check the propane ahead of time. If you can get reception, message them and they will take care of it quickly but, if you're like us and forgot to check, just wait until it's nice and hot for a brisk shower :) The site is a little close to the road and it sees very limited traffic. The site is definitely secluded and this means a decent stretch of dirt road. Bring a truck or at something that can handle some rougher areas, especially if the weather has been rainy lately. The host gave us great directions plus how to avoid the worse areas. It's secluded so you can't expect a 4 lane highway to get in! That being said, also be prepared to have next to no cell reception. We have AT&T and only got one bar of 4G if we held our mouth right while balanced on one foot reciting ancient spells in Latin. If you want an escape from your digital life, this is the way to go!
After taking a look at the guest book, we saw a few entries from people just like us, mostly couples just looking to get away. My husband and I had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again, albeit a little more prepared. Definite things to bring that might not be on your list: binoculars for the wildlife, bug repellent, a sense of adventure that also doesn't mind having a cute cabin to rest in, and be prepared to relax. The host will send you a nice welcome packet on what is provided (which is pretty generous - even fatlighter was there for starting fires!) so you can pack lightly, too!
