Whether you bring your family, have a girls weekend, or come with friends you are bound to enjoy some cowboy life. Codys Ranch makes every effort to provide you a safe and enjoyable experience at the ranch. However, riding horses, being around cattle, horses, dogs and other farm animals, hiking, being around ponds, being in the barn, barnyard and other out-buildings, being around machinery, equipment, and other objects, and participating in activities on the ranch by their very nature include risks of serious injury. Each guest will need to sign a liability release. No smoking or no e-cigarettes.

Comfy lodge & land rich in history
Cody Ranch is a beautiful piece of property nestled in the gorgeous Driftless Region of Wisconsin. Ed was a friendly and attentive host. I enjoyed learning the history of his multi-generational farm. The lower level of the Bunk House was very spacious and clean and would comfortably fit a crew much larger than ours. Beds were large, comfortable, and had nice linens. We appreciated the full kitchen with ample cookware, dishes, and applicances - and we were able to make full meals during our stay. The fresh eggs from the Ranch's hens were an added bonus. Everything was very homey. We didn't get a chance to hike the property due to other events we attended, but it looks like a really nice area to go on a hike. We brought apples from home to charm Hot Rod the quarter horse and his sidekick donkey, Charlie. They were sweeties to hang out with. We visited Apple Fest in nearby Gays Mills. I highly recommend visiting this part of beautiful Wisconsin and lodging at Cody's Ranch. We had such a nice trip to this area, we are likely to return.

Comfy cabin with a view
This is the best get-away! Cowboy Cody is an awesome host and so friendly and generous. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful view and nice rockers on the deck to enjoy morning coffee. The fire pit had plenty of wood and comfy chairs. The hot tub was convenient and luxurious. Two clean bathrooms and a stocked kitchen.
