Sacajawea State Park

Immerse yourself in history here at Sacajawea State Park. Located where the Snake and Columbia Rivers meet, you’ll find over 9,000 feet of sparkling freshwater shoreline here. Sit back and enjoy stunning views of the rivers and a sweeping azure sky—this is a great spot for bird watching! There have been a few additions since Sacajawea camped here on her expedition to the Pacific with Lewis and Clark. The park is an ideal place for picnickers, with 130 picnic tables and two kitchen shelters; one shelter has electricity and a grill, and can accommodate up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. Or try out the park’s roster of activities including boating, hiking, swimming, and volleyball!
