o Watch for wildlife around the campsite including burrowing owls, ground squirrels, bobcats, roadrunners, donkeys (burros) and the occasional wandering cow.
o Very quiet yet close to I-25 and Hwy 60 with excellent cell phone reception (Verizon, T-Mobile, possibly others).
o The property is located a few miles east of the Rio Grande river with its world-renowned birding (Bernardo, Sevilleta, Bosque del Apache) and wildlife viewing opportunities.
o Multiple attractions nearby including Albuquerque, National Monuments and Parks, State Parks, and so on.
o Shopping, restaurants and gas nearby in Veguita, Belen and Socorro.o Pitch your tent or park your RV in the fenced area or anywhere in the front. The entire property is pretty flat and open. Every location provides views towards mountain ranges and is excellent for stargazing with very dark nights. o Easy access to the property on improved dirt roads, two minutes from the highway. o Directions: exit 175 on I-25, head east on Hwy 60 for approximately 6.4 miles, turn left on Escobar St. (sometimes called Guadalupe Ave.) for 0.6 miles, turn left on Figueroa Ave, property is on the right after 1,000 miles (fence post says "77").
