Primitive campsite w stunning mountain views - enjoy nature and solitude! Just outside Deming, NM - make sure to stop at the D. H. Lescombes winery on the way! 4x4 vehicle highly recommended, as dirt roads can be soft depending on weather. This is a primitive campsite - so NO water, power or toilets are available. Please respect nature. No fireworks or trash. Pack in pack out policy. Wildlife includes mostly small animals like rabbits, prairie dogs, turtles, lizards, field mice and kangaroo mice. Bigger animals such as deer antelope and the occasional cow are out here. Dangerous animals are rattlesnakes, coyotes and cougars. Be prepared.
