3 secluded but easily accessible acres. Some shade in summer. Very scenic spot. San Francisco River valley. Near many hiking trails and Gila Wilderness. Bird watching, star gazing, safe location just off highway 180 - far enough to be quiet. Bathroom with shower available. RV plug in and clean out.You can camp inside a locked gate with electric hookup near a bathroom with shower, or your camp could be surrounded by views of mountains and rock formations above the San Francisco River. Just off scenic highway 180, but quiet. Dark skies at night - so many stars! Bird watching, lots of hiking trails and safe! Hot tub, pool and sauna available. There is only one electric hookup and it’s marked as the campsite but there are multiple other options around the property for tents and or vehicles, depending on what you’re looking for (privacy, views or accessibility to bathroom).

Blue Heron Camp

Barbara’s place was amazing! We took a “Grandma and Great Grandma” adventure with my two year old Grandson, who loves the water and playing outside. We put up a tent in her yard where we enjoyed so many beautiful birds and plants! Mr. W even took Lincoln to feed the chickens, and left us with eggs for breakfast! The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was perfect for ending our evening. One of the perks is having an available bathroom and shower. Many sites we looked at did not for tent-goers. This made our family’s camping a much easier experience. We would definitely return to the Blue Heron!!!

Relaxing Desert Oasis

We loved staying at Barb and Kevin’s place! The proximity to the Gila Wilderness was perfect. We also really enjoyed the property itself, which felt like a relaxing oasis. It was such a treat to be able to start the day with a soak in the hot tub, go out hiking and exploring, and end the day with a swim in the pool. Barb and Kevin were very gracious hosts; they left towels in the bathroom, invited us to use their RV (as we were tent camping during monsoon season), and Barb even let us know when she was heading to town to ask if we needed anything. I was also happy to learn that the bathroom for our use is a regular, fully plumbed bathroom that is detached from the main house. The property was formerly used as a bed and breakfast, and the separate bedrooms may be available for future bookings. I’m really looking forward to coming back for future stays!!

Blue Heron Camp

Barbara and Kevin were very welcoming, and they accommodated our camper van comfortably. The directions were clear, and they greeted us upon arrival. Bathroom was excellent and a short walk from the campsite. Garden is truly amazing with flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Loved the pool after a long hike and hot tub after a chilly night.
