We are located one mile south of the Wyoming/Colorado border on the west side of Highway 287, one mile north of the rest area. The elevation is about 7,500 feet. Our property, and the surrounding area, is loaded with stunning granite boulders. This outcropping is part of the Sherman Batholith, (just like Vedauwoo to the North), dated at 1.4 billion years old! There are a variety of trees and abundant wildlife and birds. RVs, pop-up and all styles of towed campers are welcome, except Class A motor homes or low ground clearance vehicles, due to a small hill and dirt roads. Our house is uphill and far enough away that you won't see us, but we're available if you need anything. Property is 40 acres and has multiple spots to camp on. There is a significant amount of creek frontage and also a scenic overlook at the top of the mountain. The property is in the middle of a valley and is very quiet and no lights, so it's a great area to relax and see the stars and hang out with the family.
The road to the property is 44H and is county maintained road with wide clearance so a regular car or RV can make it just fine and there's a large area for parking at the base. To get to the top of the mountain I would recommend 4x4 as it's a steep road, or you can walk up.
Because it was dry this year I would not recommend a fire unless it's contained in the fire pit and is small.

Staying on Kym's property was my first Hipcamp experience and it couldn't have gone any better. Her place was easy to find and not far outside of Laramie, but still felt like I was away from it all and camping. There were lovely sunset views and a spectacular full moon the night I was there. It was quiet at night and I slept well. In the morning I watched Pronghorn Antelope in the prairie as I enjoyed my coffee in the van. Also Kym was an excellent host and fun to chat with.

We really enjoyed camping on Tasha’s land. The location is perfect- anywhere from a block and a half from almost anything you need. The land itself is simple- an empty lot in a small neighborhood by the hot springs. We appreciated the detail of the lights around camp, the well, and especially the picnic table- all we really needed for our RTT camp night. Like I said, though, the spot is in a neighborhood and also in a prime spot in town, so traffic levels are high at all hours. Expect some noise and light— we had ear plugs and eye masks so no problems here, but good to know. Also, nearest bathrooms are at the hobo hot springs about a block and a half away, so recommend your own portable potty for any urgent cases where you can’t hold it for the walk ;) nice stay for our night- thanks, Cowboy Zen!!

We were so pleasantly surprised when we got there. It was a last minute booking to camp at Tiffany and Tommy's land but it quickly became one of our favorite spots we have ever camped at. The horses and Goats were a kid favorite. The restaurant on the property had delicious home made ice-cream and food was fantastic. The grounds were clean and well kept. It was so nice to be part of nature out there. Red Feathers is only a short drive up the road. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will be back!

The folks at the front desk were super friendly and the caramel corn was delish! We paid the extra to be in the trees and it was well worth it. Our site backed up to the river. What a wonderful experience! We took a 40’ motor home in and out easily. It’s also close to the main road in and out. Tommy and Tiffany are both wonderful people, very inviting and the camping spaces are quite private and quiet with views of horses in a pasture and goats occasionally herded one way or another. The community is awesome, very welcoming, and the onsite Rigby’s offers good food and great live music.
There is a new small building with restrooms and a shower in one of them. Electric, up to 50amp (bring an adapter if you are set up for 30 amp) and water hookups. Dump station right next to property.
Definitely recommend. I will go here again

Not only were our hosts helpful way we needed a rubber washer on our RV maiden voyage, but the property is Oh so special! We saw big sky stars, and heard lovely birds singing, visited the horses and goats. The cream on the top of this extra special place is Rigby’s on property for all things restaurant bar ice cream. Rigby The Dog comes by to check on the tables. We happened to go on a Saturday night and caught some wonderful live music ! We can’t wait to be back. The hook ups all worked great, and there is a dump station on site.
