This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. One of my favorite home away from home’s. This property will help you reground and connect with nature. I have added the necessities of life, while keeping the property as natural as possible. My goal is to share this great experience I’ve created with you and your family. From the outdoor shower to the walking trails that weave through the woods and over Tibbet Creek you will love your stay! A couple of the sites are more remote than others by design. Not all can be driven up to. The furthest would be approximately a 500’ walk. A wagon is available to carry your items to your site. There is a large pond if you would like to fish or swim, and a John boat and a paddle boat to use also. Each site has its own fire pit with a cooking grate. Firewood available for purchase on site. There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. Weekend Trip to The G Farm

I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

Weekend Trip to Corner Creek Ranch

If you’re a HipCamper reading this and the listing is still available, book it right now! The tiny house rental exceded my groups expectations in every way. The tiny house itself is nicer inside than expected and thoughtfully built. The hot outdoor shower felt amazing on a cool night after spending the day hiking. The stars on this property are the best I’ve seen in all of Wisconsin, we all saw multiple shooting stars each night. The hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and their farm fresh eggs. Randy and Alnilda are really cool and kind folks. They really cared about how we were doing and enjoying our stay. They made our weekend trip the best it could have been.

Great spot, site owner has everything you need, worms, fire wood, porta potty, little cabin, and Hugh bluegill in pond that are a blast to fight with. Well maintained, all functional amenities if you use them. Five star rating all around. May not be big enough for like a 30 ft rv unless you got some good backing up skills. But little 16-20ft rvs should fit in just fine. I had a little 8 ft gear trailer and I had tons of room.

The host was great I let them know in advance would be a long day of traveling, they took the time to make sure everything was arranged so I had everything would need upon arrival. Second time staying at Blue Gill heaven. Again Roy was great host! Fishing was great! Row boat is awesome! Saw turtles, lots of birds, peace and quiet!! Wonderful place for fishing and nature enthusiasts!
