What a beautiful property! We loved camping in an oak grove in the fall time - golden and heavenly! The lake was beautiful, and even though it's the weather wasn't conducive to swimming, we thoroughly enjoyed reading on the dock. Everything about the site was as described and made camping with our 34' fifth wheel a breeze. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Jenifer's wonderful property immensely. Setup is easy - even with a larger rig. It's so easy to get caught up and loose track of time watching what all the natural surroundings have to offer - absolutely beautiful and so relaxing!

Love it here! It was our second time and will be back. The lot is so nice and such a great location. Awesome trail just a mile down the road and so much to do in Trego and Spooner. Definitely check out Strongman Smokehouse and brewery!

Nice site on Butternut Lake! Great firepit and views of a quiet cove on the lake. Plenty of room for the dogs to play and hang out. I wish it had a dock as fishing from the shore was pretty much impossible with all of the lilly pads. We did not use the porta potty since we are self-contained and didn't need it. There is some firewood available but you will need an axe or a splitting maul. I split some but found a great place on the way to the site in Park Falls that sells bulk firewood. We would definitely come back again, I would give it 5 stars if it had a dock and would certainly pay more.

Beautiful place on the lake. Host was very accommodating with our stay incoming storms had us coming in late and staying an extra day. There is a lot of wood but bring a way to split it. The fire pit was huge never used it but was nice as an option. Watching the ducks and lions in the morning and evening was so nice.

Trego Lake is very relaxing and quiet, very little boat traffic and great to watch all the pontoon boats. We enjoyed our time, differently will be back. Peace and Quiet, what more can you ask for!!

We loved the property! Big shady space to play catch, pretty private (caught glimpses of neighbors but not much) and had fun fishing off the dock. Kinda mucky water right off the dock, but we had fun watching for turtles!

Nice vacant lot on Butternut. We had a pop up, small travel trailer and a tent. All fit well. We spent most all of our time on the water! Butternut is very nice.

This place is incredible! It's so easy for large RVs with all the hookups and concrete pad to park on. Gorgeous river views off the dock, and an amazing fire pit set up. We saw deer, turtles, frogs, birds and more! It was our second visit and we'll definitely be back again.

This place was perfect! It had a lot of space to enjoy yard games with our family, a wonderful firepit to enjoy our nights, the dock had fish biting off of it, the wild life was also amazing! We saw deer, geese, eagles, ducks, hawks, and much more! Plus it’s a 5 minute drive to Strongman Smokehouse which is one of our personal favorite places to stop in the area! We will 100% come back to this one!

My girlfriend and I went here with our dog to see how the pup would do camping, especially in a car, and it was a great place for that! It has a lovely view and having firewood, cooking equipment, row boat, and a private portapotty was a definite bonus! Only drawbacks for us had to do with the neighbors, we didn’t see them looking at us or snooping, but there isn’t much privacy. We did have a neighbor’s dog wander into our site while we were eating, while the doggo was friendly, something to keep in mind if your dog doesn’t do well around others.
We fully plan on booking this spot in the future and would highly recommend booking
