Trapper Arts Retreat in NW Wisconsin has (3) waterfront sites and (1) wooded site. Located on a 1/4 mile long dead-end road (except Bob Lake West) on a 90 acre lake and only 5 minutes from the Chippewa County Forest! The Chippewa County Forest (over 10,000 acres) Hickory Ridge Trailhead is located about 5 miles away. You can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, ATV or horseback riding trails. Trails wind past small lakes and beaver ponds, as well as spectacular vistas and abundant wild life. LIST OF SITES (all of our sites now include a portable toilet, firewood, fire ring, water, power, picnic table and/or chairs). BIRCH Waterfront is named for the beautiful birch trees that frame your view of the lake that also includes soothing evening loon sounds :) It is our medium size campsite with a level gravel and grass pad with lakefront access via the long wooded dock and an included row boat for fishing and boating. EAGLE POINT Waterfront is a favorite because it is the most private, surrounded by trees and is on a elevated waterfront lot with steps down to a dock. This site has a canoe and a row boat and the best spectacular sunset views. The eagle's nest is in a tall pine tree above the steps! BOB LAKE WEST Waterfront is our only site that is not on this dead end road. It is located on the west side of the lake near the boat landing. This site has a bonus small storage shed which could be a cool kids cabin. It is partially wooded elevated site with stunning sunrise views. WOODED RUSTIC is a non-waterfront campsite for both tents or RV's that has been updated to a site with power and water and includes access to the lake and a row boat at our common access which is only about 200 yards down the road from this site. RV's can park on the gravel pad and tent guests can setup down the walking trail in the woods. This property was previously owned by Trapper Art who was well known in the area and started several successful businesses dating back to 1967 including Art's Snowmobile, Trapper Arts, and Art's Electric which was quite an accomplishment in the Wisconsin Northwoods!

Bob Lake - Eagle Point Waterfront
Eagle point on Bob lake is one of the best campsites we’ve been to in our 45 years of camping. It is a private site on a quiet lake with beautiful sunsets. Our dogs loved the space to run and play off lease both in the large open space on the hill and down at the lake. We had space for everyone, sitting by the fire pit, laying in our hammocks, fishing off the dock, or paddling the boat out on the lake. Mike and Brenda are so kind, gave very clear communication and were highly accommodating when we requested a shift in our dates due to an oncoming weather warning this spring. The firewood, fire pit, grill, two tables, a boat, canoe and a porta-potty were all available on the site and ready for use when we got there. We will definitely be going back to Eagle Point.

Bob Lake - Eagle Point Waterfront
One of the nicest campsites we visited in our 30 years of camping. Site was so secluded and quiet and the lake view was just beautiful. Our two big dogs loved being off leash for lots of playing and wading in the lake. Hosts provided lots of ammenities. We will be back!

Eagle Point campsite is spectacular. Can’t recall many sites any better in all my years of camping. Also great hiking at Chippewa Moraine nearby. Highly recommend!

Bob Lake - Birch Waterfront
Nice sized site. We had 2 26-30 foot campers and plenty of room for the kids and dogs to play. We didn't have a long enough power cord, but Mike brought us some extensions so we had power to both units. It was a quiet and relaxing weekend.
