You have access to the whole property including the cabin porch, firepit and BBQ, and direct access to the river. River fish include rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, steelhead, salmon, Chinook, Coho, and Sockeye, Dolly Varden, and various minnow species. Things to do from our spot: -Enjoying our Paradise. -Floating, Wading, swimming, -Trout Fishing. -Wildlife Watching. Things within 10 minutes: -Fish ladders on the left side as you drive to camp. you might also like to walk on both sides of the bridge for a breath-taking view of the canyon. -Granite Falls (at Fish Ladders). -Ice Caves (Dog Friendly). -Many hiking trails and lakes in the area. -The small town has just about all the basic needs and a ACE Hardware store, Market, Drug store, and Museum. all within 1-2 blocks. Sweet. Enjoy...!!! Property is in a very rural housing development, however it is heavily wooded with big trees and really private and quiet, especially by the river. Power is available. No toilet or potable water. Please haul trash out with you. Must bring your own camp toilet or self-contained RV's. I suggest you use the far side of the road and, line your rig up to my driveway when you go in and out of the gate and be mindful of Trailer rear end swing when going through the gate. Your RV spot is in front of the vacant 5th wheel. If you back in… back in the way you would pull out if you were already parked there. If you need help log in to my WiFi and call me, I’m very experienced and can help direct you from my driveway security camera. There is no water or Sewage dump. Feel free to use anything in the yard or porch deck including the Deck... including the games and things at the rear of the 5th wheel including the Dog Poop picker upper. Fire Ban is usually on during the Summer, but small camp cooking fires are still allowed. DO NOT leave fire unattended. Enjoy our bit of Paradise.

Weekend Trip to Greenstone Farm Camping

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home. The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

As a solo female RVer, I’m always looking for a safe spot to park and this private land tucked back in the woods was perfect for a three day stay on Whidbey. The bonus access to a kitchen, indoor bathroom and shower was great! Ryan, the host when I was there, was very friendly and helpful. And having the house lights on when I arrived (much later than I planned and after dark!) was most helpful to be able to quickly get the RV settled for the first night. I couldn’t quite find a level spot, but had I spent a bit more time and worked with my tire blocks I’m sure I could have figured it out. The turnaround was tight but doable with a 19 ft trailer and a 15 ft SUV but some longer rigs might have to do some fancy turns to get out. Overall, great value! Thanks for hosting on Hipcamp!

This is one of the better hip camps I’ve had. Really awesome space and will definitely come back. Great, responsive host. Just two things to note for people looking to book: 1) The sauna doesn’t get “sauna” hot and functions pretty much as a warm room. It’s still awesome that it’s there, but if you’re booking just for the sauna you should know that it doesn’t really get up to temp. 2) as I said, this space is awesome and as-advertised, but your enjoyment may vary depending on who else is camping here while you are. There is plenty of room to spread out, but if the other parties sharing this space with you have different ideas about privacy, noise, off-leash dog etiquette, etc., it could be annoying.

I stayed one night at Flamingo Ridge to organize my gear and prep for future car camping trips—and it was just what I needed. As an older woman traveling solo, I appreciated the quiet woods and the sense of safety and welcome. Ryan, my host, was incredibly helpful. The parking area was a bit uneven for my car “Sparky,” but he patiently helped me find the best spot. I was also greeted by Wendy and Peter—two exuberant German poodle puppies who added a delightful touch of joy to the experience. There’s a communal kitchen and bathroom, both clean and functional, with clear rules and information posted near the entrance. It’s not fancy, but it’s well thought out and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to reset, test your gear, or just enjoy the forest (with a few tail wags thrown in), Flamingo Ridge is a great choice. I left feeling more prepared and more relaxed than when I arrived.

Mimi's property was a hidden gem. We loved fishing in the lake, catch and release, large mouth bass. We reserved all 4 RV sites for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We had a fun day swimming at nearby Stillaguamish River, and a great dinner at nearby Nuttys Roadhouse Grill (no bar there, though) The Landing is best if you are able to rent all 4 sites together with family or friends. Though very ample sized, there's not too much privacy between the sites if you don't know your neighbors. Mimi was so sweet and gave us privacy and space. This gorgeous property is a Dreamland in progress. They've done so much to landscape and improve the already perfect natural space. Having a reunion or wedding there would be perfect!

We loved camping at Taylors. The spaces are open but still felt private. The bathrooms were an added bonus. There were plenty of roads with little traffic to ride on, close to Sedro Wooley and Concrete if you forgot anything. Lot's of hiking and other parks near by for day trips.

We loved our stay here! The spot is super close to the many different beaches, and we had the best time paddle boarding and watching all the local wildlife. Having power and water right at the site was such a nice bonus, it made things really easy and comfortable. Getting in with our little teardrop trailer was no problem at all, and the host was fantastic quick to respond and really helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!
