Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca. Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US! We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21. There are more sites on the other part of the Campground. The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing. The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play. Activities nearby include: Pacific Ocean beaches, Pleasant Lake, Crescent Lake, Beaver Lake, Snyder Lookout for stargazing, Olympic Discovery Trail, kayak floating, the area is great for hiking, biking, mushroom and fossil hunting, wildlife viewing, ATV trails, and much, much more, come have some fun.

The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek as you are the only campers here. This is a very large space to share with those of your choosing. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company. Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town. You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer. If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores. You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways. I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well. What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed. And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing! There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy. A wonderful place where memories are made.

With Rialto Beach just 3 miles away, we are a perfect base camp for must see locations, including the Hoh Rainforest, Cape Flattery and Ruby Beach. The town of Forks is 12 miles away. SITES 1 and 2: Camp sites are a short walk from the parking area and porta-potty and have access to a wagon to transport gear. Please do not drive across our property, or you will be asked to leave. Guests have access to our sauna, outdoor shower, dishwashing station and porta-potty which are centrally located on our land, just walk up the grassy hill from your campsite, there are signs to help find the way. We request that you only use biodegradable soaps and shampoos to preserve our watershed. Please ask if you need anything. Drinking / potable water is available out of the tap of our dishwashing sink or lower field hose bib. The sauna is available for guests on our property and we encourage you to try it out. The property is approximately 40 acres. It is a mixture of forest, bogs, a couple of creeks, and open grass areas. We are a tree farm at the moment. However, we are diligently working towards farming flowers, vegetables, and herbs that may be purchased. We have trails throughout the farm with one that leads to state land. You can definitely get your hike on and work up an appetite. Our sites are unique as each one is a different layout from the other. They are hand-cut into the forest so you will be tucked away from others, but you will have an opportunity to meet others if you so choose, when we fire up the large community campfire. We are four-legged family member friendly with the stipulation that your animal family member not be too terribly talkative and loud. Also, it is imperative that your animal family member be restrained when hiking on all parts of the farm. While at your site, you may allow them to be unrestrained as long as they stay on your site only. We are a NON-SMOKING facility. We do not allow firecrackers ever. We have a tree farm we steward and firecrackers are a fire risk. So please no firecrackers on the property.

Coastland Camp "Relaxed by Nature" LOCATION ~ PRIVACY ~ SAUNA Wilderness wellness awaits at our rainforest campground on the border of Olympic National Park. Enjoy easy access to the river, forest trails and world famous Rialto Beach. Dry campsites are self check-in and have a picnic table and fire ring (use is subject to Clallam county burn regulations) and require a short walk from parking area. Water, a portable toilet, shared sauna and hot shower are located centrally on our 12 acre property. Our favorite thing about this land is it's energy. People often make a point of telling us that they leave more refreshed and relaxed then when they arrived at our coastal rainforest property. We believe that connection to nature leads to connection with oneself and are happy to provide an access point to all that Olympic National Park, and La Push have to offer. With Rialto Beach just 3 miles away, we are a perfect base camp for must see locations, including the Hoh Rainforest, Cape Flattery and Ruby Beach. The town of Forks is 12 miles away. SITES 1 and 2: Camp sites are a short walk from the parking area and porta-potty and have access to a wagon to transport gear. Please do not drive across our property, or you will be asked to leave. Guests have access to our sauna, outdoor shower, dishwashing station and porta-potty which are centrally located on our land, just walk up the grassy hill from your campsite, there are signs to help find the way. We request that you only use biodegradable soaps and shampoos to preserve our watershed. Please ask if you need anything. Drinking / potable water is available out of the tap of our dishwashing sink or lower field hose bib. The sauna is available for guests on our property and we encourage you to try it out. If you have never used a sauna before, please make sure to check out the sauna etiquette sheet. The West End is majestic, and also a rural working landscape which means occasionally you may see or hear activities related to agriculture, forestry, and rural life. You'll need to pack and dress for the weather (colder) and bring a sense of adventure!

Calm Waters is bordered by the Bogachiel River. It is approximately 2 acres of timber and a little meadow area. On site, enjoy swimming, bird watching, eagles & sunbathing with total peace & relaxation. There are many hiking trails nearby. You can hike through our beautiful forests or take a stroll along our gorgeous beaches. There are many beaches within a short driving distance from our location, and you can take your pick of sandy shores or a little rockier shore. Plan a picnic as you watch the beautiful sunset after a day of combing the beach of all its little treasures, Seashells, rocks, and Sea-glass. Dine in at any of our local restaurants. You can take your pick, we have lots to choose from. The Hoh Rainforest is also just a short drive from our location along with many lakes and rivers. The city of Forks is located approximately 6 miles from our location. You can find a place to supply all your needs from our local grocery store " Forks Outfitters", to our pharmacy / gift store. We also have 'Native to Twilight' for all our Twilight fans, the Sasquatch and many more little shops, and restaurants. Forks is a very unique town with a population just under four thousand. For more history on our town, you can visit the timber museum and information center located is the city of Forks.

The property is approximately 40 acres. It is a mixture of forest, bogs, a couple of creeks, and open grass areas. We are a tree farm at the moment. However, we are diligently working towards farming flowers, vegetables, and herbs that may be purchased. We have trails throughout the farm with one that leads to state land. You can definitely get your hike on and work up an appetite. Our sites are unique as each one is a different layout from the other. They are hand-cut into the forest so you will be tucked away from others, but you will have an opportunity to meet others if you so choose, when we fire up the large community campfire. We are four-legged family member friendly with the stipulation that your animal family member not be too terribly talkative and loud. Also, it is imperative that your animal family member be restrained when hiking on all parts of the farm. While at your site, you may allow them to be unrestrained as long as they stay on your site only. We are a NON-SMOKING facility. We do not allow firecrackers ever. We have a tree farm we steward and firecrackers are a fire risk. So please no firecrackers on the property.

I stayed at site 5. I really liked the extra privacy and the look-out spot for morning coffee and sunset views. There’s very little light pollution in the area, so the stars in the night sky were plentiful. Fantastic for stargazing! It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. It’s also very clean and well-maintained. I took my dog down to the beach and we had so much fun running around right before sunset. Did I mention the sunset views? Ahhhhmazing! This Hipcamp site exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend staying here. I know I’ll be back again for sure!

Weekend Trip to Shangri La Push

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we had placed Shangri LaPush on our favorites list a while ago and decided it was finally time to go! This place did not disappoint! Dale was a wonderful host and very welcoming! The bathroom was clean and warm in the chilly weather, and our camp site was clean and spacious for our setup. We loved that it was dog friendly (we travel with our fur pups) and equipped with a doggy poop trash can. We used the water from the well spigot a lot and even the kids had no problem getting the water for our camp. We saw some beautiful stars in the night sky and enjoyed the view of all the gorgeous trees. We did hear some road noise but it wasn't bad and it honestly did not take away from our experience whatsoever. Very good location close to Forks, the beaches, and some quick convenience stores. The whole family agreed we will be coming back to make more great memories here!
