My family bought this property from a wonderful man renowned in the world of plant pathology. My father once asked him, "George, what is the secret to a long and happy life?" George took a deep breath and exhaled. He smiled, a twinkle in his eye, and said, "Randy, (dramatic pause), don't worry, {another lengthy pause) don't hurry." We are fortunate to live here, and we want to share the beauty with you. Please stay here and take a moment free of worry and free of hurry. About the hosts: Camas and her father, Randy, co-host this property. One or both will be onsite at all times should any issue arise. Please message if you need a last-minute booking and it appears to be blocked. We can't do an "instant book," but there's always a possibility that we can accommodate you. About the site: This 17-foot 2005 Jay Feather Ultra Lite trailer is clean and cozy - perfect for one or two people. A third person is welcome, but it will likely be a little cramped. The double bed has a memory foam mattress and is made-up with quality sheets. Towels are provided at no extra cost. The kitchen has a 3 burner propane stove and oven, a small fridge, a microwave, and sink. Coffee, tea, tea kettle, French Press, creamer, and sugar are provided, as well as a few dishes, a pot and pan, and utensils. The spring water is sourced directly from our property and filtered, so you can enjoy it from the tap! In my opinion, it's some of the best water around - feel free to fill up before you depart. The site is set back from WA-State Route 106, but only by about 20 yards. There is traffic noise during the day, but it's not too bad, and it is typically pretty quiet at night. Hopefully you enjoy the sounds of wildlife ~ birds, lapping waves, and even a creek add to the experience. A panoramic view of the estuary is one of the best parts of this property. It's dreamy, really. With the tide changing every 6 hours, you just can't get bored. You may fall asleep to tide flats and wake up to what feels like a lake. If you like being on or in the water - bring some kayaks, surf or paddle boards, and some high quality water shoes (never go barefoot!). You will have access to 400 feet of private beach and tide flats. Kayaking is tide dependent - recommendations for paddle times will be in the binder. (Currently closed to harvesting 6/23) If you have your shellfish license, feel free to harvest a few oysters or clams (depending on DOH recommendations) . Be aware - it is a rustic beach, and it is across the highway, so watch for traffic and watch your step on the beach. Our house is within sight of the trailer, but you have to make an effort to see it. From our house, we can only see the parking spot, and due to shrubbery & a shed, we can't hear talking voices, so it is pretty private. We do have 2 very friendly, small dogs who will undoubtedly alert us to your arrival, but they stay on our deck and quiet down right away. A welcome binder and maps will help you get an idea of the area. For a tiny town, Union has a LOT to offer - there are several dining choices within a few miles. Union was even listed in the top 10 "Prettiest Towns in America" in Forbes Magazine in 2009! Learn more about this land: One of a kind view of the Skokomish Estuary and Olympic Mountains. Setting is perfect for those that want an authentic PNW experience, rather than just a place to sleep while touring Oly Pen. guests who book this listing should understand that the location is not easy come and go access. The property is located down long, windy, gravel service roads. Our escort car is a must and comes with the booking this will be the main interaction you have with us as hosts unless you need something or want more. Guests need to plan accordingly and think of it as a backpacking trip meaning upon arrival, they will most likely not use their car until departure. They should be responsible for all meals and activities or can choose to book meals and activities with us. BACKCOUNTRY FULL MEAL PLAN: $150 p.p.p.d. There are plenty of opportunities to bike, hike, swim, and dine. The best part? We are right on Lake Pleasant! We offer three cabins and two RV sites with full hookups.

4 nights at Fischer's Place on the Estuary

I have stayed in so many places across the PNW and this was by far the most special experience I’ve had. The host was so thoughtful and communicative and made that every part of my stay was taken care of. The private beach access to sit and watch seals and eagles was the highlight of my entire trip. The town is so cute and has so much to offer. The bed in the camper is THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED I have ever slept on including my own and I was very sad to have to leave it. This was the most perfect place to spend my birthday in peace. I wish every place I stayed could be hosted by people like Camas.

2 nights at The Kings Cottage-Adventure awaits!

This is an incredible spot clearly built as a labor of love. Even on a rainy day where we couldn't do much outside, we stayed in warm with the cozy woodstove + sitting in the sauna in the rain was pretty magical. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need, there was plenty of wood and propane, the beds were extremely comfortable, and overall we were just happy to hang out here with our dog. Looking forward to coming back!

This place was perfection. From the location to the hosts. What an ideal spot for the perfect camping getaway. The yurt was decorated so beautifully. Lots of blankets and pillows!! Great Trip!!

5 nights at Olympic Adventure Campground

Amazing campground and host! The Backcountry Cabin was perfect for my needs, comfortable and spotless. Hot showers are available. The grounds are clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient to Forks and the surrounding areas of Olympic National Park. John, the host, was friendly and responsive. I'll definitely be back!

1 night at The Ultimate Camping Trip

I was so lucky to have the whole place to myself on a quiet Tuesday- the tent was comfortable and so wonderfully peaceful, the quiet was unreal- right next to a river with not a soul around... Be aware there are no heaters or creature comforts- it's very basic but the peace and solitude make for a great escape... The portapotty and shower is a quick walk and the other tents seem far enough apart for privacy ( hard for me to judge since I was the only one there)- lots of communal seating and chairs outside your tent- I really enjoyed it...

1 night at Olympic Adventure Campground

This was a great stay en route to the Hoh rainforest and the Olympic beaches- I was hesitant to reserve the Chinook cabin at first because the reviews described it as an overpriced shed, but it was anything but...It's a proper cabin with extremely efficient heating, windows,excellent lighting, plugs for my charger, even a microwave! And two new air mattresses had just that day been placed, super comfy😊 Safe and sturdy and walking distance to the clean bathrooms, I was pleasantly surprised...I've stayed in more expensive tiny cabins with less offered so I'd call this a win- I'd definitely stay again... ~ the town of Forks with food and services is literally right down the street...

Weekend Trip to Myhyda Way

I absolutely loved my stay here! It was perfect location to explore Olympic NP, just expect some driving since the park is a bit spread out. We were also close to Port Angeles, which was great for coffee in the AM, or dinner at night. Danielle was so responsive, and very helpful leading up to my trip! She even gifted me some firewood for my last night, which was icing on the perfect trip. thank you!!

Great spot. The A frames were clean and the mattress was comfortable. The shower was really nice too. The turn off was a bit hard to see at night.

Really adorable site. There's WiFi in an otherwise 'dead' zone. Showers, bathrooms, covered places to cook and mystical mushroom themed grounds. The little heater did almost nothing for us in our little tent in late March, no big deal.

Weekend Trip to Kenanna RV Resort

For under $100 a night, cant beat it. Sleeps 4 with bathroom. Bring an instapot or something for cooking. They had karaoke the night we stayed. Friendly people!

I loved the dome set up. It was cozy and beautiful - the perfect setting to disconnect, be out in nature, and still be comfortable. The dome was set up with heaters, water, coffee and more so it really was comfortable, luxury camping. I would definitely return and hope to come back again myself!

We had a very good time at Roxanne's Hipcamp. The domes are super! Very clean, quiet, warm. We enjoyed making a campfire fire also. Just a wonderful glamping experience.

We loved the twilight dome!! such a cute way to camp. We saw chickens and deer in the evening and took a walk by the cows in the morning. Camping was really quiet. We played games in the evening in the dome. This time of year is cold in pnw so bring extra layers!! The host is so sweet!! Thank you!

I keep coming back here because i love to photograph eagles. The camper is so cozy and has everthing needed for a stay. It's also very clean and extremely safe for a solo traveler. Camas, the hipcamp owner, is the best!
