Now owned by the Pinson Family, this land was originally purchased by the Schmitt Family nearly a century ago in the small town of Joyce, Washington, back when fishing was the only draw to this beautiful landscape. There is access to a private boat ramp, seaside privacy, and it is surrounded by beautiful trees. Hand built rustic cabins line the coastline. Each has it's own unique name. Folks have been escaping to Whiskey Creek Beach for generations as a way to unplug from the hustle and bustle of todays busy lifestyle. With names like "Halibut Hole," "Codfish Cottage," and "Captain's Quarters," the charm is undeniable. The waves crashing over a pebble beach lull you to sleep, and the salt in the air wakes you in the morning. A private boat launch is very difficult to find anywhere on the sound. The boat launch at Whiskey Creek Beach is the only one between Fresh Water Bay and Sekiu. Whiskey Creek Beach is a place you really must experience it in person. In a busy world, full of demands and obligations, it is rare to find a place so close that feels so far away. This truly is PNW living at it's finest.

1 night at Olympic Adventure Campground

Super easy stay and very comfortable and clean! We got into forks pretty late after driving in from Seattle after a day full of travel and stops from ATX. We were easily able to check in and access our cabin after hours around 8:30 pm. They had showers and bathrooms on site and showers costed $5 each person so super reasonable. I appreciated the cabin having an oven. Only thing I wish was that it had chairs inside because the ones outside had some water in it so we couldn’t bring them in because the legs kept peeing on the floor lol. But other wise highly recommend!

What a marvelous, breathtaking location. Simplicity and solitude at its best, yet still opportunity to connect with others visiting if you choose. Easy to navigate to and the right amount of amenities to assist the typically self-sufficient feel like they made a bit of a splurge. Can’t wait to return during all other seasons.

Weekend Trip to The Ultimate Camping Trip

This cabin is in a very nice location next to the river. We loved that it’s located in between Forks & La Push. One thing to really keep in mind is that the cabin isn’t insulated very well so it has lots of big spiders inside. And I do mean everywhere! We did our best to kill what we could reach and find, but still ended up getting bit in our sleep.

Easy to find. Very quaint, not artsy but lots of personal touches. The river is delightful and lulled us to sleep. Didn't use shower. Portapotty was cleanest 1 I have ever seen. Stayed in Cabin 2. Very cozy and had everything needed. Looked in window of the cabin it was very cute & inviting. I don't know why people are leaving negative reviews. Very enjoyable experience

Weekend Trip to Shangri La Push

We had such a great stay! Dale was an amazing host. He was friendly, helpful, informative, and incredibly quick to respond whenever we had questions. He gave us a tour of the RV when we arrived, showed us where everything was and how it worked, and even provided space heaters for the cooler nights. The RV was very well stocked with everything we needed, including cookware, utensils, silverware, paper towels, dish soap, sponges, trash bags, and more. There’s also a shared full bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink that was always very clean and fully stocked, even with thoughtful extras like feminine products. There’s also an outdoor shower with hot water, which was especially beautiful at night under the fairy lights! The grounds themselves are beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept. The location is also super convenient and close to Forks, making it a great home base for exploring the area. And we can’t forget Ginger, the sweetest little host! Ginger is genuinely one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever met and would come greet us when we arrived back at camp. Such a fun part of our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Dale went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would happily stay again!

1 night at Shadow Mountain RV & Campground

Loved the glamping tent with cots, made it very easy to road trip through the region with just a sleeping bag. The fairy lights were a cute touch. The general store had everything you might need, plus some feline employees! Easy to find, decent bathrooms/ showers. Road noise is similar to city living, so if you’re used to that, it’s not a big deal at all.

We absolutely loved this cabin and location! It was exactly what we expected! Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! It would have been a great fire night to stay up drinking wine way too late but the fire ban got us to bed at a respectable time!

John was super cool and friendly. The cabin was really nice as well as the amenities and the campground itself. It was probably one of the nicest campgrounds that I've ever stayed in. Beautiful property!
