This was our first voyage with our teardrop trailer. Scott’s camp was perfect for us — away from the city and very peaceful, but not difficult to find. We stayed at Site 3 and really enjoyed the view of the meadow and trees. Felt very safe. And the outhouse, hand sink, and solar shower were wonderful to have right there. And it’s sooo quiet at night. Thank you, Scott!

It wasn't too far from the freeway, which was helpful since we had many plans to go places during our stay. Scott was very helpful and kind! He offered us fruits from his trees. This group campsite was amazing! Our group of adults, kids and dogs absolutely loved it! We had a couple of trailers and some in tents. It was perfect for all of us. The spot is near the road but it felt secluded still. The kids had plenty of space to run around and the dogs were able to run and play in the wooded area. Close to copalis beach and seabrook. We would book again if we plan to come back to the area!

Nice and private site that was easy to find. Host was responsive to messages and the site is conveniently close to town where you can easily find any last minute provisions or a good meal. The site does have a slight slope, but it was fine for tent camping and parking two motorcycles. Would definitely come back!

This spot is easy to get to, about a 5 min drive from Copalis Beach. It’s close to the road but there is a gate and fencing around the property. I would still keep an eye on your pooches. The woods behind the property are a nice bonus for exploring. Our dogs found mud pits in the woods of course so make sure you bring an outdoor shower/water of some sort to wash your dogs! Haha. electric hookup is nice (there are two 30 amp hookups across the gravel from one another so you can easily have two campers spaced out. There is a slope but our leveling blocks worked well. The porta potty was clutch to have. Nice big gazebo with picnic tables and fire pit. Wood on hand which was great. The gravel made maneuvering the RV very easy but bring an outdoor mat because it is really tough on dog paws. This was a great spot to star gaze at night and have our first stay with the RV. Lots of memories made.

This place is accurately portrayed in the listing. Close enough to the ocean we can head over there from camp at a moments notice. Though it’s relatively close to the road, the trees seclude it and you really feel like you are in the middle of the woods with a little electricity. I appreciated the porta potty because we sprung a leak and couldn’t use the water at all in our trailer. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

We found Brandon's place to be exactly as advertised and reviewed. The location is excellent in that it is 15 minutes to the beach, 7 minutes to a store, and stays sunny when the fog rolls in. Brandon was exceptional in his communications, generous and friendly leading up to and during our stay. Dogs had a great time, but be aware, the gravel that makes this a perfect spot for RV's is a bit tough on their paws. There are great walking trails in the woods where they can run off energy, but the in camp wrestling matches seemed to be best enjoyed on a RV outdoor mat. The fire ring was the envy of everyone in our camp, perfectly set to radiate heat and under the awning to keep the weather off.

There are five campsites on a spacious property tucked between greenspace to the west and south, with a few homes to the east. While the two sites closest to the homes may not offer the same sense of solitude as the others, the overall setting is serene. The port-a-potty (2 total on the property) was clean and well-maintained. My pup and I were the only campers during our stay, giving us the freedom to explore the hilly landscape and enjoy visits from curious deer. Mowed paths guided us around the property lined with bushes covered with yummy blackberries. We met one of the neighbors, who was incredibly nice. Bill provided firewood, poker, and water for the firepit, which was a thoughtful touch. It was a very enjoyable and peaceful stay! Thanks, Bill!

Campfire Tale: The Legend of John Tornow "The Wildman of the Wynooche." More than a century ago, the forests around Travers Mountain were home to one of Washington’s most mysterious figures — John Tornow, the Wildman of the Wynooche. Born in 1880, Tornow grew up as a gifted woodsman and hunter. He was known for his uncanny ability to move silently through the timber, living off the land with the skill of someone more animal than man. But his story turned dark after the tragic deaths of his nephews, the Bauer twins, whose family homestead you can still see from our property. Accused of their killings, Tornow fled deep into the wilderness. For nearly two years, he evaded every search party and posse that hunted him. Locals whispered that he was impossible to track — some even swore he could vanish into the trees like a ghost. He became both feared and respected, remembered as part outlaw, part legend. The tale ends in 1913, when a massive manhunt cornered Tornow in the woods. Even then, he fought fiercely, leaving his mark on Grays Harbor history forever. So when you camp here whether its under the trees-at Tornow’s Timberline, perched high at Outlaw’s Overlook, or gathered by the fire at Wildman’s Saloon Stop — listen closely to the night sounds. The owls, the wind, and the rustling branches might just remind you of the Wildman, still wandering in spirit through these hills.

Coffee Creek is an intentional community and working farm on the north side of Centralia, Washington. While our 11 acres feels very secluded, we are just 3 miles from historic downtown and 10 minutes from the freeway and shopping. An accessible oasis! There is a park with swimming, fishing and hiking along the Skookumchuck river within a mile of the farm, in addition to the natural beauty found right here at home. We enjoy bird watching, exploring our forest, and relaxing around a fire when we aren't working on the farm. Seasonal Strawberries and pastured poultry are our specialties, and we offer a wide variety of veggies and fruits. Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space. Nearby there is SnowPeak Campfield that has a sauna and hot tub. There are many restaurants and public beaches to experience. During the summer there are numerous events like the kite festival, sandcastle festival, Rod Run and others.

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate. Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events. 6 mi from Jones Creek Brewing, 7 mi from Evey's Cafe & Pe Ell, 20 mi from I-5, 69 mi Westport Quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am.

There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company.  Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town.  You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer.  If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores.  You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways.   I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well.  What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed.  And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing!  There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy.  A wonderful place where memories are made.
