The property is 20 acres surrounded by the Lummi First Nations Reservation. It is near the ocean however beach access is for tribal members only. Please respect this. There are some trails on the property, more being developed. The area is on the west side of Bellingham Bay and within 15 min scenic drive to Bellingham. The area is also close to the Lummi Island Ferry which is a great day trip. Also a gateway to the Mount Baker Wilderness Area, so much to see! BONUS - this area is a hotspot for Sasquatch (Bigfoot) sightings. There has even been a sighting on this property, in addition to several having heard a sasquatch call/scream. There are others living on the property in a community setting, please be respectful of their privacy. They live in renovated school buses. Property is off-grid. Absolutely no electricity here, or wi-fi. Cell service is poor except for AT&T. Water is very good quality but not available at all times. When water runs out the generator needs to be ran to fill the tanks (typically done by someone living there). There is a porta potty along the side of the road as you enter, it is serviced weekly.
