Doe Bay will always hold a special place in my soul. The staff were all friendly and kind. The scenery was unmatched, and all guests were welcoming. It was so quiet and peaceful. Doe Bay was a reset for our bodies and souls!

I hadn't had the opportunity to visit Doe Bay before, and our stay in the walk-in waterfront campsites was pretty awesome. The campground is cliff side, overlooking the bay. Unrivaled views. Quiet and well maintained, with a friendly staff around the property. The spa alone is worth a stay.

What a fabulous property. I loved the indoor spaces, access to hot water, and places to sit by the bay. It was such a lovely experience. Too bad that they encourage you to eat at the cafe but it wasn't opened a single day during my 3 night stay.

Our stay at Doe Bay was lovely! Camped 3 nights at Auklet, about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot. We had a nice view of the cove and seals swimming around. Campsites are fairly close to each other so sound does travel, but fellow campers and guests were very friendly and respectful. The community fire ring and guest kitchen were highlights and a nice way to connect with other guests, overall a very communal vibe. The cafe was closed during the weekdays we were there so we didn’t get to experience the wonderful food, but would love to come back and try it next time! Use of the communal spa (hot tubs and sauna) was fun as well.

Chickaree: Walk-In Waterfront Site
What a magical place! My kiddo and I got a a walk-in spot on the water and it was just the most perfect place for a home base while we adventure all day. We loved it so much, we asked to add on an extra night.
Doe Bay is great! Gorgeous location with stunning views. Lots of amenities and things to do, including a spa, store, yoga studio and a café. Check out the main website. The Hollow Log camp site is set beautifully, open but shaded, overlooking the Bay and water through the trees, with stunning views just steps away. It’s a bit further away from the amenities and parking, so expect a little walk. Carts are provided for your gear but you might have to carry your stuff for the last little stretch as the path gets quite rugged towards the end. Also this particular site is better for a smaller tent. The staff is super friendly and we had a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Such a special place! The setting and views were stunning. Thoughtful amenities like the spa and guest kitchen, loved the live music (and 10pm quiet hours). Would definitely stay again.

Chickaree: Walk-In Waterfront Site
*This was one of the most beautiful camping sites we’ve been at!!!* The spot is literally right on the Salish Sea, outrageously beautiful water views, bird spotting, and the most unreal moonrises (we were treated to full moon during our stay!) We loved being at Doe Bay, the spa/sauna was awesome, had an amazing massage, and love the vibes of the entire site. It was so peaceful and all the other campers were super nice and laid back.
Caveats - it is ~10min hike in from the parking lot over some hilly terrain, so even with cart loads it was a serious doing getting our car-camp setup over there and cart couldn’t get over the final hill so last portion was carry-in. Great if you have a backpacking setup, but we had 2 small kids too so that was quite the trek with stuff/kids. Also re kids - no fence around water so we had to keep close eyes on them, but there was enough space between water and tent that we felt fine about it (other parents might feel nervous about the proximity of the water.) Portapotty ~3min walk from site. Just want to reiterate that trekking totally worth it for the beauty of the site!

Hollow Log: Walk-In Forest Campsite
Doe Bay is a magical spot and this sweet little campsite is a gem.
Location of the campsite was phenomenal. Overlooking the sound was amazing. Doe bay itself is a really special place.
A couple of things I wish were clearer in the description: the campsites are VERY close to each other. For the price I was expecting a picnic table or benches. The campsite itself was also on a bit of a slope. Finally of you're not fully able bodied the walk is pretty far.

Camping at Doe Bay was fantastic! The campsite had a stunning view and we really appreciated the guest kitchen with fridge/stove/grill/water, bathhouse, and of course the spa! We also appreciated the wagons for getting our gear back to the campsite as it was a bit of a walk- it was also great that we could bring our pup! The other guests were so friendly- it was nice to meet new people at a beautiful, peaceful, family-friendly, and relaxing spot! It was also really close to Moran State Park and we had a great time hiking there! Don’t miss a meal at the Doe Bay Cafe either!
