Vital Farm is 25 acres of waterfront property on Clear Lake, WA.
18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use.
There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use.
You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies.
*This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours.
There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home.
The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

This was our first attempt at a larger camping trip with 14 people and this site fit us all fairly comfortably! We had 4 medium/large tents set up and a pop up trailer. Not to mention 5 medium/large vehicles and we still had plenty of room to run around. The private access to the river was great for our fishing friends, the kids, and dog. There is an abundance of trees to provide excellent natural shade. The food prep/cooking area was incredibly handy. It included plenty of counter/table space, a water dispenser, and mini fridge. And our host, Cindy, was friendly, helpful, and patient with our shenanigans. We do plan to return for future camping trips!

Great spot right on the river! As other reviews have mentioned, Cindy goes above and beyond to make her space comfortable and convenient. She has put in a lot of work, and it shows. Firewood on site is a huge bonus. Cindy's house is somewhat close to the site, but our group didn't find that it took anything away from our experience.

The site sits next to the property owner’s second site. There is some division with a partial hedge and tree line, but if the site next-door is occupied, you’ll have neighbors in fairly close proximity. This didn’t really affect our experience, but if you have a larger group, or desire more privacy I would both book of Dan’s sites. Yes, there is a quite community drive that goes along the front of the site, but there is such little traffic, and a few trees breaking-up the view, that it doesn’t impact the stay at all.
The location is great, right along the Skagit River, near the entrance to North Cascades National Park, and a few area state parks. The town of Concrete has a Red Apple grocery store for supplies. Still, I would suggest getting the bulk of your supplies in Burlington before heading out into the more rural areas.
Upon arrival, the property owner, Dan, was there to briefly greet us as he was at the adjacent site doing some work. Dan is friendly, flexible, and a quick with communications. He assured us he would be on-hand through text or calls if we had any questions, but everything went smoothly.
Yes, there are cameras on the property, but they seemed to be more for general security rather than snooping. Still, you will notice their presence.
The grounds feature electrical and water hookups, a few picnic tables, and fire ring. There is not a sewage hookup, but you can pay a small fee at nearby campgrounds to dump.
Overall, a great stay!

I've been wanting to stay here for so long,and finally got to. Cindy's camp site is so beautiful,spacious,and accommodating,as well as my fave,the river being right there. The vibrant green river rocks are phenomenal! With that said,this is not much of a swimming river,but still beautiful and fun to play around in,especially at the white sand beach,only a 5 minute walk away.
We didn't love being in eye sight of the owners,but privacy was totally respected,and Cindy is super nice. The gazebo with power and fridge/freezer were awesome. The cleanest portal potty with stocked toiletries and wash sink with running water are certainly glamping bonuses. Overall,a wonderful stay. Thank you Cindy!

Great spot with tons of amenities- basic power, outhouse, mini fridge, gazebo with tons of seating. It was a great way to get outside for a bit without massive set up. Dogs loved the private river access too. Cindy was super communicative, and even had WiFi so we could work a bit!

What a fabulous spot along the Skagit. There were multiple sites to choose from, and the one we chose was level, had 30amp electrical and water close by, with a gorgeous view of the river. The host was communicative and site was as described. We will definitely stay there again!

Cindyland was perfect! The views amazing. The host totally gracious. We had five large tents and there was plenty of space to navigate. Our two dogs had plenty of space to roam, but also contained from getting to the road made it super easy. Oh and the instant hot water made getting morning coffee a snap! My friends were all asking when we are rebooking!!

Our group really enjoyed camping at this beautiful lakefront site. It was lovely to wake up to a view of the water and surrounding hills. We had fun paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. We appreciated having the space all to ourselves. Picking some of the most delicious blackberries on site was a bonus! The only downsides to the site were a porta potty that needed servicing and some frequent noise from a power washer and other equipment being used by the host.
