Site next to the garden was big enough for 4 tents. It was very nice having access to a sink to wash dishes. Outhouse was a little stinky but very clean! This site was not as private as our group had hoped. We usually choose a HipCamp spot specifically for privacy because we have a few dogs in our group that are reactive/not good with strangers. The chickens did attempt to come into our site multiple times. The hosts were kind, but they were nearby working in the garden and had several cars drive to their home. Greats spot, just not for our specific group.

Wow! I really loved this site and cannot praise it enough. Jess is AMAZING (and my 4 year old daughter agreed as she keeps asking to visit her again.) The site was HUGE and had so much space for our large group and for the kids to run and play. It was really peaceful and Jess really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, even providing a kids potty for my daughter so she didn't have to walk to the outhouse in the middle of the night. We will absolutely be back if they will have us!

Rob and Jess's campground is amazing! It is very clean and the sites are well spread out. There's a large field where kids can play. And, their spot on the Samish River is great for cooling off and relaxing. In addition to these attributes, Rob and Jess are super nice, communicate well, and are very accommodating! I highly recommend this campsite!

You can walk barefoot if you want! They take really good care of the land and if you have compostable trash, Jess is more than happy to have it because they also have chickens! They even have the cutest lil farm stand! The kids loved playing in the field rooting around for sticks to roast marshmallows on! It was a really nice camp ground, best I’ve been too in a long time

Great family campsite

Stayed at the cedar tree west field campsite which was perfect for me and my extended family and kids to run around and play all sorts of games! Host were welcoming and a pleasure to communicate questions. They made sure to have a bathroom that was taken care of and it was nice to have a sink to wash dishes with! Also used a few bundles of firewood they had for sale!

We had a great time at Camp Wildlife. It was clean and peaceful and Rob and Jess are friendly and welcoming. We stopped by for just a night on our way to another campground but we would absolutely go back.

A really peaceful campsite

Camp Wildlife is a really peaceful campsite just a few minutes off I-5. There’s plenty of room to navigate our F150 and 20’ travel trailer. The Cedar Tree West site is closest to the main driveway, but large enough to be well out of the way of the other sites. Rob and Jess were great. They greeted us, guided us to the site with ease. Water, if we needed it, was not that far way and the restroom was very close. It did not take much to get a perfectly level position, right next to the picnic table. In the evening and early morning, we had deer wander past, and didn’t seem to care we were there. The walking trail was nice. We didn’t go to the river because as other commenters, it’s steep and needs sturdy shoes. We walked it in the evening when the wind slowed down and mosquitos came out, so we didn’t stay long. We were excited to buy some fresh duck eggs and plants from the well-stocked and cute farmstand.

Car camping on Jess’s land was great. Quiet and easy to access. Outhouse was clean and well-stocked. Outdoor sink was covered and water clean and cold. Jess was sweet to personally greet me upon arrival and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would stay again.

Jess was a welcoming host! I was the only one there the night I went, which made for a very peaceful stay. I saw deer on the property and the ducks from afar. I loved that she included a dog tie out- made it really easy. Everything was super clean!

Lovely camping spot!

Our crew stayed at the Garden View site and found it very comfortable camping. Plenty of room for 3 large tents, close to the restroom and water and very quiet. Jess and Robert were so warm and welcoming - even when our kids kept going on to their property to see their ducks and sweet dogs. Having trails to walk on the property was a lovely bonus though the path to the river is quite steep. It was so lovely to get to have a campfire in the cool evenings and see the stars at night! We will be back!

Had a beyond amazing experience on Jess and Robs property!! They are the best hosts and helped make our anniversary trip a beautiful one with flowers and local cider! Super thoughtful. The space was perfect for our lil family with so much space to run and play. Having a bathroom and washing station close by was nice too. The fire pit was perfect for a little fire under the stars. Would totally recommend them and would love to go back again! Super stoked we found their property😃

Spacious Getaway With Room To Relax

The property was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, offering plenty of room for our group of 5 guests, 3 tents, and 4 dogs to spread out and enjoy. We were lucky to have the site mostly to ourselves on Friday, which made for a peaceful start to the weekend. The nearby river was beautiful—though the path down is quite steep and unstable, so it may not be accessible for everyone. There were some background sounds from the neighboring area (a 4-wheeler, music from the host, and the Skagit Speedway), but everything quieted down by bedtime, allowing for a restful night. The site is pet-friendly, which we really appreciated—just be sure to keep dogs strictly leashed and barking to a minimum. There’s no Wi-Fi, but it was a welcome chance to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway with plenty of room to roam.

My weekend at Jess' garden view site was exactly what I needed. The beautiful countryside and peaceful atmosphere were so relaxing, and I loved being able to walk down to the river and through the meadow. No matter which site you choose, you'll be pleased! Jess is an amazing host, and I can't recommend her enough.

This is a really great campsite with lovely hosts and a peaceful atmosphere! If you take the trail down to the river, it immediately feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, and it's just beautiful and surrounded by forest. The site was nice and spacious, and felt private. There's a sink with running water, and a (really nice) pit toilet, so you have everything you need! This is a great place to camp - definitely recommend!

Jess and her husband are great hosts, so friendly helpful and generous. We stayed at the West Cedar site for 3 nights. It is a very large site. It is probably the least private of the four, but the sites are pretty spread out, so it wasn't an issue for us. Probably the best site if you're relying on solar as you have sun pretty much all day. We bought some fresh duck eggs and they were delicious! We definitely plan to go back.

Jess’s place was great. She is very welcoming and accommodating. I stayed here for an event in Burlington, it was an easy drive back and forth. There was an owl singing me to sleep. You can hear the speedway, but it wasn’t obnoxious and didn’t distract from the birds. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Great camping spot especially on a busy holiday weekend.

Hosts are awesome people and the campgrounds were lovely. Very spacious and beautiful. The outhouse was a pleasant surprise and was one of the cleanest and cutest I have ever used. There’s a nice trail that leads to a nearby river and some very friendly dogs that belong to the owners. Located within ten minutes of a grocery store. We all had a wonderful time and I couldn’t recommend the campground enough!
