Amazing weekend at Dragonfly as always! If you want a truly special time, book all the camp spots for Friday and Saturday nights and have the place to yourself. Larry is a fantastic host and always ready to help with anything that is needed. The pond has lots of small Bass that are fun and easy to catch on a little spinner bait. Been brining my son here for several years and he’s 13 now and still calls it his “Happy Place”. I guess your never outgrow those core memories. It’s also minutes from the Skagit Speedway which has amazing dirt track races on the weekends that everyone should experience at least once. See ya next time Larry, thanks for the great memories. 👊🏻

My kids, my husband and I have enjoy staying at Larry's campground. He's very attentive to what we need. The campsite is clean, quiet, large enough for the kids to run and play. It was my kids first time camping and staying at Larry's campground had made an amazing experience for them. They were able to paddleboard, get on the canoe and even fishing. At night you'll hear the frogs. If you're very sensitive to noise just a tad a bit especially hearing frogs all night long then maybe I think it won't be for you. Perfect spots to star gaze at night too! We all had an amazing stay. We would definitely come back again! I can't wait for future updates larry.

This was our third consecutive year staying at Fox Camp. Our kids (four and eight) love this spot. There's plenty of room for them to run and play. Particular favorites are the buoy swing and taking out the paddle boat. As adults, we enjoy the tranquility of the campground and how well-kept it is.
Other bonuses include wildlife (garter snakes, frogs, rabbits, hawks, bats, deer), a park nearby (Donovan Park), and proximity to Sedro-Woolley. There may be other shopping and parks nearby, but there's another park in Sedro-Woolley (Pat's Park) and a Food Pavillion.
Larry is a fantastic host. He's easily accessible via text message and very responsive.
If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, I'd highly recommend this site. Side note: we are located near Lynnwood, and have found that it's best to take Highway 9 both north and south. The travel time on I-5 can vary widely, especially if there are slowdowns near Marysville and Everett. Additionally, the drive on Highway 9 is far more scenic.

My family had a fantastic time camping at Dragonfly Camp! Our kids caught frogs and fish and enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. The nice picnic table and fire pit with tiki torches for the evening were also very convenient. Larry was a super kind and communicative host. It’s a lovely property and with only one other campsite it felt plenty private. We will definitely look forward to coming back someday.

This was a lovely, serene spot. Very private (we were the only campers there). My son had a blast taking the canoe out and fishing in the pond. The bull frogs were very entertaining and soothing:) it’s so close to everything but really feels secluded. Larry was very kind and helpful!

This site has a lot of potential, but there a few things to be aware of. In the heat of the summer, there was near zero breeze and it was uncomfortable. The best shade areas were too close to the garbage area and port-a-potty. Pond water is very still and therefore the mosquitoes can be problematic (bring defenses!). Additionally the frogs…we’ve camped a lot and never heard croaking like this. It was less “ribbit” and more “horn”…it was not the lull of nature, it was the equivalent of car alarms going off all night long. Second night we bought ear plugs from local service station and that made a huge difference from our first sleepless night.
Currently very little of the ground is flat, but the owner mentioned doing some work on it to flatten it in the near future. So if you’re car camping bring leveling items for under your wheels.
Suggestion for improvements:
- Move port-a-potty farther up trail to make shaded area more usable for campers.
- Consider a wheel-chair friendly sizes port-a-potty.
- Move trash cans as well; consider an enclosure specifically for trash bins.
- consider more specific signage at gate where welcome sign currently is.
- consider numbers or names for camp spots.

Staying at Larry's campground was absolutely wonderful! He was super responsive when it came to questions we had and everything was as advertised by the listing! You even get sung to sleep by the bullfrog chorus in the pond!

We really loved the kayaks and the bullfrogs calling. Wished we could have met the host, he sounds great from the reviews. The spot is pretty. I forgot the part about no potable water which was challenging. It was also the night for the summer nationals at the Skagit speedway so it was very loud until after 10:30. The porta potty locked itself, luckily the other campers picked it open. There was no level spot for a tent so there was some sleeping bag sliding toward the lake in the night. If there was any other place available I would not pay the high price to stay at Dragonfly. $25 maybe, it was pretty and has potential. Things just lined up to make our stay less than it could have been. At least the picnic table was sturdy with a nice umbrella. Level a tent site, set up some water, warn folks about the speedway. We can put up with the low murmur of I-5 because the site is conveniently close.

We absolutely loved camping here! We travelled from Canada to come stay here and Larry was a fantastic and responsive host. The entire stay was pleasant and stress free. We will be coming back!!
There was an adorable little bunny den at the site we stayed at and the bunnies would come out to visit lots. 10/10 recommend

Great spot to stay! Kids had a great time watching bats and tromping around. Caught (and released) a few bass on the pond from the canoe. Everything was clean and well-maintained.

This was our second trip to Fox Camp. Our daughters (three and seven), love the pond and the buoy swing. If you're looking for a tranquil place to relax, this is definitely a choice spot. Larry is an excellent host and keeps the campground squared away. I'd absolutely recommend this site!

This place is awesome and so peaceful!
The host Larry is very kind and accommodating.
Clean bathroom and easy access to firewood. The swing and canoe were a ton of fun. Access to kayaks and a paddle boat as well, though the canoe is easiest to explore the pond.
Also, the tiki torches kept the mosquitoes away the whole time!
Definitely recommend! Fun for all ages.

Larry’s campground was great. He is a very kind, gracious host. Excellent communication and prompt responses. We had the whole place to ourselves for 3 nights. Abundant wildlife, and a variety of flora to check out. Frog symphony serenade at night. Can hear I-5 road noise during rush hour, but it is not bad at all. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Larry!

Second year coming to Fox Camp / Camp Dragonfly with my son. Private, secluded, perfect. Exactly how we remembered it. This time we saw Bald eagles fishing in the pond, two deer, and caught a couple bass. Larry is a great host. Port-a-potty on site is clean with extra supplies. Picnic table with umbrella was also great and convenient. Mowed and groomed nature trails make hiking fun and easy. Can’t say enough good things. For a few dollars extra Larry will have the firewood waiting at the campsite. Can’t bet it. Worth the drive!! Enjoy! We’ll be back again soon!

This was our first time Hipcamping as a family and we LOVED bringing our little trailer here! Such an awesome spot in a beautiful location. Comfortable place with clean picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, clean porta-potty, fire ring with grill. The kids (and adults) absolutely loved the variety of boats (canoe, kayaks, and peddle boat), and a rope swing. We enjoyed listening to frogs, watching the sweet family of geese, and seeing bats flapping about in the evening. There was a bit of distant freeway noise, but didn't detract from a relaxing stay. Tent-campers might want to be prepared for some scattered goose poop on the grounds.

We loved having the water crafts to enjoy the pond and to go fishing. Refreshing to be out in nature with the sounds of bull frogs and birds. It was a wonderful stay and the host made sure we had everything we needed.

Larry was an amazing and friendly host! His sites were large and clean. He provided canoes and kayaks to use on the pond, trash cans, water for hand washing, and he had large bundles of firewood for sale. We had a great time and will likely rent the site again in the future!

A little tight for a 25+ foot trailer but scenery is beautiful and Larry is an excellent host. The boats and the pond were amazing the kids had a great time and there were plenty of fish to be caught. We had a blast!

A beautiful private space with a pond. Lots of things to play with, from a swing to some little boats and kayaks. Would definitely come again. Larry was very welcoming and stopped by to check in and make sure we were all ok for the weekend. Great host!

Larry was friendly and this was a nice location with kayaks and tables near a small lake, trash cans nearby and an outhouse. It served our purpose for a quiet, fun meet-up with friends (main criteria: quiet, close to I5, north of Seattle), but compared to typical state or county parks with more amenities (water, power, nearby trails), the price seems quite high. Good for a stopover, would probably not stay more than one night.
