I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now ran by his brother on Whidbey Island). We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go! AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO: -There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Weekend Trip to Pipe Lake Cabin

The cabin was larger than I expected! You enter into a large room with the main bed (bedding included), pullout couch, armchair and fireplace. Then there is the kitchen area with a good size dining table. Bathroom is right off the kitchen. No shower but that didn't bother us. Basic amenities for the kitchen is all provided and there are plenty of extra blankets. Just a PSA, your door code will be sent 30 minutes before the check in, we found ourselves worrying as the time got closer and closer!

Weekend Trip to Pipe Lake Cabin

Perfect for the first stormy weekend of Fall. Lots of reading, listening to the rain & hail! We did get a little sun & got a bit of fishing in. Wonderful & close views of an eagle, sitting right in a tree off the deck. Pro tip: Shut the door between main room and kitchen. It makes the heater much more efficient. Can't wait to get back in Spring. Charming and peaceful.

Staying at the Sweetheart Cabin was the PERFECT autumn weekend getaway! It was stormy and rainy outside a lot of the time, but that just made the cozy cabin even better with the wood stove, string lights, candles, and blankets. The cabin as well as communal spaces were clean and everyone was so kind. It's a fun tree house which is perfect for a family of 4. Our kids loved playing board games, watching TV, etc. The host was super generous and even provided homemade cookies. The bathroom situation is quite interesting with an emergency solution inside the tree house and the primary toilet in a portapotty a few steps away from the tree house.

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it was amazing! Paula is a great host. The site was quiet which cannot be said of traditional camping options. The shower set up was right out of a spa, so relaxing during a rain shower. The location is great with a quick walk to the river and a short drive to town. We plan to check out the cabins next time. I definitely recommend!

We have just added a gas’s fire-pit and a metal grill/camp stove cart.

The cabin was super comfortable and cozy. We heard elk at night too which was super cool! Definitely recommend for anyone trying to escape the city and explore Rainier and the surrounding nature.

beautiful cute and quaint campsite. lovely couple that gave so many great recs and info on the site. celebrated my friends bday and first time camping for him and he said it was a lovely experience. very well kept area and grass was still soft in late sept. 10/10 would recommend especially if you dont want to camp with other campers around and prefer more secluded area without it being too far from the city (30 mins away from downtown seattle) and owners are nearby but never saw them throughout the trip just to say hello and goodbye:) thank you for the beautiful stay. also depending when you go they have lots of fruit - apple on trees and grapes on the vine in late September!

A serene, unique and comfortable place with amazing sauna, star-gazing from the shower made it perfect. Feels almost like a hotel with the comfy bed, actual roof and private shower-though it is open air (with door and window screens) but plenty of warm bedding if you stay in the colder months. Waking up to horses outside the window is very special. Really amazing hosts, I’ll definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Green Apple Alpacas

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire. Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet. Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.

Beth was very welcoming in and friendly when we arrived at Blue Mist. Actually Shadow (the kitty) greeted us first (A+) but we felt very welcomed and it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Lovely views across the farmland of the surrounding hilltops and mountains. Close to town if you want/need to grab groceries or coffee or a beer at the brewery. It was just what we needed on our journey. Next time we are near Enumclaw we would love to stay here again!
