Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend. A large vintage terrazzo semi-circular classic washfountain. The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek. The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer. For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation. This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles. A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site. A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on. Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter. It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground! Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails. We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it! Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power. There are fire pits. When possible firewood is provided gratis in the woodshed. There are bundles of wood for sale at the Ace Hardware store in Carnation. + 5 minute drive to Carnation Farms Farmstand for eggs, meat, milk, juices, homemade dishes, veggies, berries, fruit, ice cream, cheeses, vinegar, chocolate, sauerkraut, kimchi! + 15 minute drive to Remlinger Farms (summer only) amusement rides for kids - Model-T cars, swings, canoe, carousel, pumpkin rides, steam train, roller coaster, barrel ride, peddle cars, giant slide, whirly bird, star gazer, wreaking ball, pony ride, hay rides, - u-pick fields, ice cream & pies, corn mazes, many animals (bunnies too), and a brewery with bands! + 15 min drive to Snoqualmie River + 20 minutes drive to Snoqualmie Falls +15 minute drive to Microsoft Campus, Nintendo, Pushpay, llink Systems, ADIC (Advanced Digital Information Corporation), Meta, Spacemark in Redmond #larping + 23 mins from the cute town of Issaquah + 2 hours and 30 minutes drive to the famed The Gorge Amphitheater, near George, Washington, a natural outdoor concert venue in Grant County + 27 minute drive to Chateau Ste. Originally the fields were used to grow peas (1940's), dairy (1950-1960's), black angus (1970-1980's), hogs & dairy replacement heifers (1990's), fresh culinary herbs for the grocery stores (last 20 years). Larry and Dolly McMurtrey purchased the Delveccio farm in 1975 next door to this farm. The farm offered an exciting new venture after retirement. The McMurtrey's had many fun and unique ideas. They purchased truck loads of scrap glass to resell as fish glass, which is still seen today in the parking lot. They grew bamboo and sold imperfect veggies that farmers were going to throw away. Eventually they landed on Christmas trees. To expand their ventures, they leased this land for many years then eventually sold the Delveccio land and purchsed this farm in 1998. Today, Larry and Dolly's daughter and son-in law, Jana and Pablo Sifuentes have grown the family business to provide wonderful memories to the community during the holiday season. This year the farm will start a small u-cut flower field then add the pumpkin patch in September and November. Modern Bathroom with cotton towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. A separate room with fridge and microwave, ALL Cleaned after each person just because we are really careful hosts.  Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field.  Traffic noise possible as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 250 feet from camp site. Two State parks within four miles. Four miles to the town of Enumclaw.  We have a 3 or 6 person tent for rent, a queen air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices. There are two fire pits one shared on the ground and one above ground for wood fires. Fire wood for sale at $10 a bundle. Nice big bundle and kindle. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. We have 2 tables where you can enjoy meals and games either indoors or outdoors. You will be one block away from Highland Park which has a tennis court and baseball field. Less than a mile north, you can explore the West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails. Only two blocks south of the property is Westcrest Park that hosts a community garden, a dog park, and small trails in their greenbelt. You’re also walking distance to downtown White Center, which has a microbrewery, a roller skating rink, a gay bar, a plant store, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants.

Loved the site, will say be on the lookout though on wild animals as we had an overnight visit from some coyotes so keep that in mind for small animals if off leash. Only con is mainly a 1 way road once in property so when we arrived there was another vehicle trying to leave so caused some issues. Overall beautiful and clean worth the trip over!

Another pitch perfect 🏕️😋 stay at Cedar River Resort! My pup and I stayed at the tent site again and the rain and generally soggy weather made me appreciate the tent pad even more. It’s so nice to not have to lug all the firewood in as well. I just get to breeze on in with my tiny 2 lb bag of kindling and use the firewood available on site for a very reasonable price. 12 nights at Rockin’ Z Ranch
We spent 12 nights here in September and absolutely loved it! We used it as a base camp while visiting family in Seattle. Their horse trail connects to a wonderful public trail system. The campground is scenic, secure, quiet, and private. We definitely plan to camp here again with our 26’ travel trailer. HELPFUL TIPS: 1) There is a dump station only 5 miles away at Carnation Storage Center for $9.00. 2) The entrance road to Rockin Z drops a very steep 10 degrees off of Hwy 202…out of an abundance of caution, I’d recommend disconnecting your weight distribution/load bars before arrival and departure to eliminate the remote chance of folding your A-frame (an event that wouldn’t be covered by your frame warranty.)

beautiful cute and quaint campsite. lovely couple that gave so many great recs and info on the site. celebrated my friends bday and first time camping for him and he said it was a lovely experience. very well kept area and grass was still soft in late sept. 10/10 would recommend especially if you dont want to camp with other campers around and prefer more secluded area without it being too far from the city (30 mins away from downtown seattle) and owners are nearby but never saw them throughout the trip just to say hello and goodbye:) thank you for the beautiful stay. also depending when you go they have lots of fruit - apple on trees and grapes on the vine in late September!

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire. Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet. Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.

A creek to your right and chickens to the left, this camp is out in the rural country side on a couple acres. The creek is beautiful and you'll hear it from camp. In November the salmon come up to spawn so you might hear them splashing. The Centennial Trial head is about a mile away where you will find a long railroad grade paved trail excellent for biking and walking. There are tons trails in the North Cascades up the Mt. Loop Rd outside of Granit Falls which is just 15 minutes north of camp. These are also hiking and mountain biking trails at Lords Hill Regional Park 15 min from camp or up the highway 2 corridor. Enjoy downtown Snohomish's restaurant scene and breweries, or head over to wine country in near-by Woodinville. This site can accommodate up to a 40' RV and there is plenty of room for tents too. There is water and a 50 amp outlet, plus a regular old 20 amp plug in. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. Our home is about 50 yard away. We will be out tending to the chickens and building our garden space. Maybe riding bike around with the kids. Our dog puts on a guard dog act but really just wants you to throw a stick for him. Dogs are okay but they should be on a leash to keep them off the road and out of the chicken coop.

We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there. A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet. There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good! There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there. There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home. Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

Earth Biscuits is a sanctuary and a place to enjoy nature Located in Skykomish Washington, a small town 15 minutes from the Stevens Pass Ski Resort and the Pacific Crest Trail. We have 53 acres of a southern facing hill side that runs along the Henry M. Jackson, Wild Sky Wilderness within the Mt. Baker National Forest. We have seven sites for camping. All sites have a fire ring, a table of some sort and a barrel of water for dousing your campfire. All sites have a deck for setting up on. We give each party a clean camping toilet and privacy tent. All campers are welcome to hike up to the cliffs for viewing. The road going into the property is flat and level; however, we reclaimed an old logging road and it takes a jeep or 4-wheel drive truck type vehicle (Subaru makes it all day long for some reason) to get past the switchback as it heads up to the cliffs and camping spots 1-3. Bring binoculars. Be advised that it takes an able-bodied person to get to the top as the trail going to the cliffs is rough. We are laying some ropes but count on your own ability, not the ropes. We have not put in electric hook ups, water, sewage disposal, therefore your rig needs to be self-contained. We offer a clean and sanitary camping toilet for each party. Works well and easy to use. If panning for minerals is your thing there are a couple of seasonal creeks. The property is walking distance to 3 local eateries, a laundromat , a tavern, coffee shop, outfitter, fishing guides, convenience store/gas station. Skykomish is a train community and sports a train park which offers free miniature train rides May thru October. Fun for the kids of all ages. Keep in mind that as a train community there will be trains that rumble through the valley at night. If that bothers you bring ear plugs. There are numerous hiking trails in the area as well as several rivers in the area. The Foss, Beckler, Skykomish and several pristine alpine lakes. Biscuits come to the area for a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities including skiing, snow shoeing, rafting, mushroom hunting, rock climbing, quad tours, gold panning, bird watching, fishing, mountain biking, mountain rescue instruction or just unplugging from the world below and simply chilling. Pets are welcome however the property is located within the town limits of Skykomish and there is a leash law and you don’t want rover to chase wildlife into the mountains or across the highway and be lost forever. It happens. This area is rich with history from “The Olden Days”. The longest train tunnel in the western hemisphere was constructed through/under these mountains in the early 1900s after the nation’s worst train disaster, an avalanche, took 96 souls. Wellington (site of the disaster) is a short drive, is worth seeing and is wheel chair accessible. Two books written about this, both excellent reads. The White Cascade and Vis Major. During the time of tunnel construction between the logging and rail/tunnel workers there were some 20,000 living and prospering in the Skykomish Valley. They were a hearty rough-and-tumble crowd. Thursday through Sunday there is a museum and art gallery in town. Also, there is abundant wildlife in the area including bear, deer, cougar, bobcat, porcupine, etc. In the event you’re fool hearty, NOT diligent, (lazy) and you leave food items out, that will serve as a chow call for the bears. FULL DISCLOSURE: There hasn’t been a bear attack in a very long time up here, and don’t think you're the bear whisperer because you’re not. That title belongs to Father Earth Biscuit. His ghost wanders the woods at night. I observed him playing poker recently late at night with the Sasquatch and bear that lives in these woods. The bear lost and was angry and was departing the area hoping to find a tasty human but found a nice nest of grubs instead and so he forgot about his people hunt. Unfortunately, just as my camera was ready to take video of the whole affair my battery went dead. I needed to get out of there anyway as to that point I had not been detected by them. But they are there! We biscuits find that bears are people too and they are just trying to fill their calorie needs and they like cheese burgers and chips of any kind with their beer. Don’t leave out the food items. IT WOULD BE A PROVOCATION ON YOUR PART! Enuf said. Hunting/ shooting is strictly forbidden. All state fire restrictions are adhered to. No Rock climbing the cliffs unless you’re an instructor level climber and can show credentials We have planned this as a FAMILY CAMP GROUND therefore, illegal substance users should look for another place. Your rig must be in good condition. No old 1900s models that clutter city streets down below. I hope you understand our intent here. Be advised that Length of stay is limited.
