1 night at The Landing At Lake Ploenta
The glamping tent was well maintained and had a comfy bed and great access to the pond, toilet, and hiking trail on property. I loved the big picnic table and campfire for cooking, and had an easy time finding the spot. Would stay again!

Great location not too far from Mt. Rainier and close to stores as well. The serenity Grove site was really nice, very clean, and the trees did make it feel more secluded and private. The toilet, wood, and water were very close by and kept clean as well. Jennifer was very responsive over messaging as well and very helpful.

David had great communication throughout the process and the site was amazing. We ended up not being able to stay the night due to an unrelated medical issue so ended up packing up our gear and leaving, but the dinner we had was great and I was able to climb around the big boulder in the river.
It was a little buggy, but that's camping...

Weekend Trip to The Landing At Lake Ploenta
We stayed overnight at this glamping site booked through Hipcamp, and it was the perfect escape. The roomy structured tent on a raised platform was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a portable restroom (complete with sink and lighting), a grill, fireplace, and even firewood provided. The lake is less than 50 feet from the tent and full of fish — a great bonus for relaxing or casting a line. It’s just 20 minutes outside of town, pet-friendly, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend for a peaceful couples getaway ✨️

This is a great Hipcamp! There is so much space and a lot of privacy between campsites. Jennifer is so responsive and was so helpful answering all of our questions. The meadow was beautiful and we will definitely be coming back!!

Wonderful, artist and whimsical vibes at this camp. The animals are friendly and the host is laid back and attentive. I give this place 5 stars all the way.
One thing that didn't bother me, but could help others who may not have considered it.
Dogs must be on a leash, which is in the rules but the host has 4 dogs that are off leash, so if your dog has leash anxiety it could be difficult, since there is nowhere to keep your dogs if it's hot and sunny.
Overall, our stay was amazing! We will definitely be back.

This spot is an absolute gem! Super private and gorgeous. The campsite is beautiful and well kept and the bathrooms were very clean. The host is so wonderful and very responsive and accommodating. Blew my expectations out of the park. Thank you so much, T!

This was the absolute perfect location right on the river! It was still camping with a few nice amenities to have. Portapotty was very clean and recently serviced. It was nice to have a power outlet and water from the hose. Host was very helpful and responsive. I do think it was kinda spendy for “camping” but given the location maybe that’s why. Would definitely recommend and be back 😊

Jennifer was absolutely fantastic ! This property is beautiful and easy to navigate ! Its very quiet and peaceful. You are not super close to the other camping sites at all so you have a good amount of privacy ! The composite toilet was very well maintained and clean ! We saw bunnies, baby chick's, and deer ! There is an electrical hookup and water spout beside the composite toilet that you have access to ! The fore pit and picnic table was nice to have as well ! We stayed on the Fern Gully site ! It was the site on the left end of the 4 sites and was awesome ! We will definitely recommend and would stay again !

Great place to get away from the city for the weekend! The campsites in this area are quite large and private. Our campsite had at least three tent areas. The grounds and private outhouse were well maintained and clean. Our campsite (4) was divided by the road which was a little confusing when we first got there. One side has a tent site with the outhouse and the other side is next to the river with a picnic table, fire pit and two other tent sites. There is also a small pathway to the river and a great view of Mt Index. We ended up visiting the Espresso Chalet for breakfast one morning. David was very helpful providing clear directions and quick to respond to our questions. We will be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Debi’s land was so beautiful and I enjoyed my time there. Debi is a great host and took me out to see the tidelands. Would absolutely recommend this spot on whidbey to anyone.

Barbara was a friendly host and asked if we needed anything every time we saw her. The river was beautiful and provided a lot of wildlife entertainment - we saw deer, ducks, blue heron, and bald eagles.

I love the setup and how they built the dome with all the amenities. The pillows and comforters are comfy. The shower is a big plus. They have everything you need. The community is gated and safe. I highly recommend this place if you want a quiet, safe, and peaceful weekend getaway. The hosts are easy to communicate with.
