The owner Paul was very accommodating and was helpful
My one and three year old girls and I loved spending the weekend at Wild Brook in our 20’ travel trailer. Paul gave us a tour of the farm, introduced us to the animals (goats, horses, donkeys, chickens that were all very friendly), and made us feel extremely welcome. The Valhalla meadow camp area provided an amazing shaded area for my girls to free roam. We look forward to coming back again for another staycation!
This is the most beautiful Hip Camp we've stayed at! Lots of trees, farm animals, a meadow, clean facilities and a friendly ranch dog. Host Paul was very welcoming and clear with directions. We will absolutely be returning!
Great place, super close to Seattle. It was fun to have a camping experience but also have little goats and donkeys to play with. The horses that were boarded there were just beautiful and walking around the property, watching them have their own little pastures was just magical. It's a gorgeous property and Paul is really doing work to make it even better. The "Valhalla" spot was huge and gorgeous but we opted to camp a little closer to the barn. Great communication, super friendly hosts, would totally go there again. It was only like 10 minutes drive from Rattlesnake Lake hike and North Bend so it's close to things but you feel like you're in a different world. I would totally go back again! Porta potty was clean and we had access to a sink in the barn. I loved it!

This place is absolutely magical! We absolutely loved our time here and would highly reccomend to others looking for a rustic, new spot that is something different than the norm
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home :)

Paul was an excellent host and we had a great time camping on his land. He has a neat property and we really enjoyed meeting his baby goats! Paul was incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to give us a great stay, he was quick to respond and accommodate our late evening arrival
Paul is a great communicator and provided clear directions and was easy to find tucked away up a small lane. He has a big gravel pad for RVs and large vans near the barn or a side area for tent or RTT camping in the edge of the woods with fire pit. Porta potty and water convenience too. There is distant i90 road noise but not too loud. Super convenient for hikers and bikers exploring the local area. Will definitely be back again.
They're just getting started, and in a year or so, this will be a lovely campsite. As a hammock camper, I have specific site requirements to be able to set up, and I messaged the host ahead of time to check and was assured there were plenty of options available. Despite coordinating my arrival time and being on time, I had to wait because the host was in a WFH meeting. After about 10 minutes, I was finally greeted by the host's wife and directed to set up in an area near the barn. 15 min after I started setting up, the host arrived and said she was wrong and had put me on the neighbor's property. I needed to pack up and move to a field that was inaccessible because the road was out of order. I was directed to instead carry my gear over two unsafe, unsecured, bouncy 4"x4" beams to cross a creek. There were no suitable options to set up, despite having checked ahead of time. There was also construction going on, and lots of family running around making noise. After over an hour and a half of of not being able to set up, I told the host I was leaving, and he suggested I set up about 15 feet from house on some trees there. Not a relaxing getaway, no signage, a super unsafe bridge, poor communication, no designated campsites, and a very unpolished experience.
He did refund my full reservation promptly. I feel like they're sincere about developing a nice campsite and were very friendly people, but the site is about a year from being up to basic safety standards or HipCamp quality.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Paul has a beautiful property and he placed us in a perfect little tucked away spot near a barn. We had easy access to a porta potty and a hose for water. We came to the area to mountain bike Tiger Mountain and Duthie hill which is only 15 and 25 minutes away respectively, which worked out perfectly.
Paul was very nice, insanely welcoming, and eager to help us out with anything we would need. He takes pride in his property and showed us around. We got to see horses, donkeys, and play with baby goats. He even gave us fire wood and a tarp to set up our camp spot.
We will certainly be back!
Finally venturing out to the PNW for the first time ever, alongside my partner, was months in the making with large hopes riding on it, and Paul couldn’t have been a more perfect way to kick off the adventure.
Especially for Twin Peaks cultists such as myself, his ranch is perfectly nestled within North Bend, but with the seclusion from town needed to feel like you’re truly out in the woods; and more importantly, Paul displayed nothing short of a welcoming, affable energy that every well-intended traveler deserves, but might not always get. It was easy to tell how he genuinely wanted to get to know us and introduce us around his ranch which (at the time of writing) largely tenders to old horses looking to ride out their days in bliss (sup Mr. Big!), shy donkeys, and the cutest pack of little goats imaginable. I mean it when I say his welcoming spirit is the stuff of a feel-good story.
The campsite itself might be in its humble early days of the amazing vision Paul has for it, but I absolutely can’t recommend enough to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot in North Bend to catch a good nights sleep and play a part in the work of love that Paul’s got going on!
