* RV's: Contact me if you need portable or non portable water which may or not be available depending on water supplies.

Tent Camping We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw.

This was the perfect site for our gathering! The playground was a hit for kiddos, and was so nice to have a flushing toilet. The property is so beautiful, and was so nice to sit under the gazebo with a fire even when it was drizzling. The walk to the river was fun, and the kids loved looking at frogs and caterpillars. Lorrie was super communicative and the place was easy to find. Only thing to note is there is a rooster on an adjacent property who will cockadoodledooo all morning, so if you are a light sleeper it can be hard to sleep after about 4am.

Mimi's property was a hidden gem. We loved fishing in the lake, catch and release, large mouth bass. We reserved all 4 RV sites for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We had a fun day swimming at nearby Stillaguamish River, and a great dinner at nearby Nuttys Roadhouse Grill (no bar there, though)
The Landing is best if you are able to rent all 4 sites together with family or friends. Though very ample sized, there's not too much privacy between the sites if you don't know your neighbors. Mimi was so sweet and gave us privacy and space. This gorgeous property is a Dreamland in progress. They've done so much to landscape and improve the already perfect natural space. Having a reunion or wedding there would be perfect!

Lorrie’s campsite is spacious well stocked with tables and chairs. Plenty of flat spaces for tents. There is a playground for kids and play area by the river. There is a clean flushable toilet and covered area.
Some minor downsides are: lots of caterpillars dropping from trees and neighbors have roosters. Otherwise a great spot!

We had a great time at Marvin's River camp. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The river is so peaceful. We walked in it, floated it and even tried to catch a fish.
Marvin and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. Especially with backing the trailer in as well as offering up suggestions on how to upgrade our trailer for a better travel experience. Spend 4 days and 3 nights at Swiftwater. Tracy is an amazing host. She is very friendly and at the same time not intrusive at all. The Riverside beach is great and provided plenty of shade and sand for the kids to have a great time. The camp is conveniently located near Lake Entiat, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, and Chelan. I cannot recommend this site enough.

Wow, wow, wow, the best camping experience we’ve had. We booked at Camp Hideaway literally the night before our trip, we weren’t sure if we would be able to have a trip until the last minute (work schedules, boo), and we were approved within a few minutes of requesting a VERY last minute stay. Our schedules only allowed us to camp for a single night, and most campsites in the area require a minimum of 2 nights, so it was really nice to find a spot so accommodating. My husband and I arrived with our pop up camper, 2 dogs, and 5 year old son and we were promptly greeted by Pandora to guide us and get us situated (you’re the best!). We camped on a slow weekend and got the whole park/gazebo area to ourselves, there was a ton of privacy, close to the walking trails, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river nearby. Our camper is not equipped with a bathroom, so having a CLEAN bathroom with actual plumbing was the cherry on top of this entire stay. It was nicer than my bathroom at home. We were just looking for a quick overnight camping trip, and Camp Hideaway made me wish we could stay all week. This place is awesome, we highly recommend, very kid and dog friendly, we will definitely be back! Thank you to everyone who made our stay possible!

Mimi’s property was better than we even expected! They have plans to continue to enhance the experience for all. They have done a superb job on it, and have thought of every small detail. Seriously!!! We stayed at RV site 1 with our 2 young boys and dog and had a blast. We walked the back 40 trail (an hour with kids, 30 min without), did peddle boats and adventured around for our 4 day weekend. Beautiful ducks (not the average brown ones), deer and wildlife abound. You can walk around the little lake. Calm serene environment. Water fountain sounds were lovely. Unlike another review said, there were not a lot of cars coming and going during our stay (a normal amount). Mimi was very responsive and answered all of our specific questions before arrival. She and her SO were genuinely kind people. You can tell their love for people and animals! There are a few short term RV spots to stay and each of them were very quiet, respectful and no different than having another RV at the campsite. We were the loudest ones there with our kids. 😬 We will definitely be back. My kids want to stay in one of the geo-domes some time. They look amazing (especially the two story one with a kitchen. I want to come back with extended family and rent out all the spots! What a great place to have a family reunion or wedding!! My kids also loved the vending machine for snacks. Laundry on site and a dump station which was very convenient for our RV. Also Stilly Diner was a yummy breakfast spot nearby.

This was such a wonderful, family friendly spot!! We loved the space at Big Maple. The best part was that we stayed from Sunday to Monday and had the ENTIRE Camp Hideaway to ourselves. Everything is very well maintained and we loved the real bathroom with running water. Our kids (ages 4.5 and 3) had a blast on the playground and I appreciated that it is so close and easily seen from the Big Maple site so they can go play independently but still be closely watched. The trails, the beautiful turquoise river, and the bouncy suspension bridge were so fun to explore. The only downside was the neighbor's rooster who was very vocal in the wee hours of the morning. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to next summer!
